The Belize Tennis Association is teaming up with the San Ignacio Resort Hotel to have a National Mixed Doubles Tournament on the 25th and 26th.

The Belize Rugby Union is having a BBQ sale fundraiser this Saturday at the Santa Elena Basketball Court, which is right next to Saritas. Plates will have chicken and sausage. Proceeds will go towards getting the teams to Guatemala for the Grand Rugby Tournament. Call 639-9333 to order.

The Justice for Laddie Football Tournament kicked off yesterday, just 1 day after justice was served.  Good luck to all the teams in the competition.

Don't Blink Jiu-Jitsu Academy is having their first Open Mat on Sunday the 20th, at the Kazoku Shotokan Karate Dojyo. The tournament starts at 1030am, and Donuts.by.ME will be there with their goodies.

The San Ignacio FC traveled to Mexico, and won the Copa Tulum football tournament.  They've released a video highlighting the games and penalty shots.  Congratulations, San Ignacio FC!

Saturday, the UB Black Jaguars and Sacred Heart Wolves traveled from Cayo to Independence for the ATLIB Volleyball Regionals. The Jaguars took first place in both male and female divisions.  Congratulations to all teams for doing their best.  The finals will be on November 10th at Falcon Field.

This weekend is the National Sports Fest in Benque.  Today they are playing basketball and volleyball.  Tomorrow, they are playing football.  These are the Cayo elimination tournaments.  Good luck!  

The Influencer Golf Tournament will be on Sunday the 21st at Roaring River Golf Course.

The 2023 ATLIB Volleyball Tournament kicks off this Saturday. The West Regionals will start at 9am at the Sacred Heart College auditorium. The SHJC Scorpions are strong contenders, and they'll take on JP2JC, Galen, and UB. Go Scorpions!

St. Ignatius is hosting the 2023 NSSSA Track and Field Tournament this Friday and Saturday. It'll be held at the Santa Elena Sports Complex.  Shared on the Cayo Event Calendar.

Congratulations, Belize Macaws!  They took 3rd place at the Central American Rugby 7s Tournament, which took place in El Salvador.  Well done!  

"Super proud of the Belize Macaws (national rugby 7s team), who took third place in the Central American Rugby 7s tournament held in San Salvador last Saturday. They took on the Central American Champions in their first overseas encounter, and eventually walked away with two wins out of four games against other Guatemalan and El Salvadoran national 7s teams. Pictured here is the team with Belizean Ambassador to El Salvador, Margaret Juan) and Captain Raheem Cummings presenting pendant Belize flags to the Catpains of the other teams - we were the only ones to do this. Our guys also presented small gifts to all the officials - again, only we. So, they put Belize on the Central American map and I am SUPER SUPER PROUD!"

The BNYCF had another chess qualification tournament, this time at the George Price Centre in Belmopan.  Keep those kids thinking!  They are all winners!

It's Youth Week, and the Department of Youth Services in Benque is having an under 18 basketball tournament for west Cayo youth.  They'll be having it each evening this week at Deacon's court.  Contact Jimmy Leslie at 633-5050 for more information.  Good luck, and happy Youth Week!

It's here the long awaited U-18 Basketball Tourney for youths living in Benque Viejo or Cayo West!  Starting Monday November 5 to Friday 9, 2012  All games are to take place at Deacon's Basketball Court from 6:00 p.m. onwards.

2. All players must be able to present proof of age, if requested.
3. The overall winning team receives a trophy!
4. All games are to be played under FIBA rules
