Add!ction Designs is having their grand opening on Saturday, November 9th.  Their shop is at 24 West street, and is looking nicer every day.  Gabriela Barrera has done quite a few fashion shows around Cayo, and has some creative fashions.  Defnitely check them out.

The Catwalk in the Jungle Fashion Show is tomorrow night at the Cayo Welcome Center.  It starts at 7:00pm.  Emmanuel Mangar will be performing during the event.  A portion of the proceeds from the event will got to a feeding program to support families with children who are unable to provide nutritious meals for the kids.

Rebecca Stirm has an album of the models, including two Miss Belizes, Destinee Arnold and Chantae Guy, along with many others that you know and have seen many times before, that will be in the Autumn/Winter 2013 Fashion Show.  It's just 3 nights away.

The Catwalk in the Jungle Fashion Show at the Cayo Welcome Center last night was an outstanding success.  The venue was filled as the models of all ages showed the fashions on the catwalk.  Kubuli sponsored the event, and had special prices on beer.  There was a silent auction with such great prizes as resort stays, canoe trips, and phones.  Emmanuel Mangar was there strumming, and Almost 7 ended the night with some rock and roll.

"What a great night at the Cayo Welcome Center! It was packed, and the fashion show went off without a hitch.  Emmanuel Mangar played, as did Almost 7(a mix of Ascenthium and Echoes).  The models did a wonderful job on the catwalk."

Cayo was well represented at the Belize Fashion Week in San Pedro.  Joris Hendrik and Gabriela Berrera, with her Add!ction line,  were there to show off their designs.  Jose Luis Zapata was on hand capturing the magic of the catwalk.  And is it just a coincidence that the catwalk is in the shape of a 'J' as in Joris?

Congratulations to Cayo's own Amal Assales for winning Rebecca Stirm's Design Illustration contest!  Amal won a gold seat ticket for the Autumn/Winter 2013 fashion show happening this Saturday night in Belize.
