The Caves Branch Botanical Gardens visited the Valley of Peace primary school for Children's Month to teach the students all about the wonderful plants of Belize. Feelgood news of the day. Valley of Peace village had a medical clinic, courtesy of Best of America by Horseback, which promotes riding in Belize. "Today we spent most of the day preparing for the free medical clinic. Best of America by Horseback is providing to a village near Banana Bank Lodge where we take guests riding in Belize. We have not publicized this work on the show, but Best of America by Horseback has been quietly supporting the Valley of Peace Christian School, an elementary school in this small village for some time, helping with school supplies and other needs. Tomorrow and Wednesday our riders and volunteer nurses and a doctor who have traveled here with us from the states will be hosting a free clinic to the students, their families and anyone in the village needing medical attention. This work is extremely heart warming."

Valley of Peace village has a new clean water system. Thanks go out to One Desk Foundation and Water Missions Belize. See the video about the project.

The Belize Raptor Center visited the Valley of Peace and QSI schools for Children's Month to educate them about Belize's raptors. Thanks, BRC! "We spent the day with three great organizations; Belize Bird Rescue, The Forest Department and The Peregrine Fund doing educational outreach at The Valley of Peace school. What an amazing turn out it was!"

Water Missions International Belize has a video out chronicling the Living Water Project that they did in Cayo's Valley of Peace. They finished the one in Bullet Tree Falls last year. This great video captures everything about the project to bring very cheap, clean water to Valley of Peace.
