The University of Belize had 480 happy graduates Saturday at its 16th commencement exercises.  Congratulations to all the new graduates!

"The University of Belize held its Sixteenth Commencement Exercises on Saturday January 26, for students, who successfully completed their course of study at the University’s Central Campus, Belmopan.  The graduates received their diplomas at the Associate, Bachelor, Certificate and Diploma levels.  Of the total number of 480 graduates 330 were females and 150 males representing 68.75 and 31.25 per cent of the total graduates respectively."

Sacred Heart Junior College will be partnering with UB to offer Bachelor's degrees.  Currently, they'll have Business degrees in Marketing, Management, and Finance. Awesome to see even more educational opportunities in the Twin Towns.  Education is the key!

The latest UB Bulletin is a special graduation edition.  There's a heartwarming story about Ceejay Young, who's working on his Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management.  His journey of learning to deal with his 'diversabilities' is truly an inspiration to all.  They also have an article about the new president, Alan Slusher, and his qualifications and expectations for the bright future of the University of Belize.  His graduation address which focuses on lifelong learning is well expressed, and definitely worth a read.
