'Sharon Matola, founder of the Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center (BZTEC), was also posthumously recognized at the National Tourism Awards. We honor her legacy, achievements, and contributions to tourism and conservation in Belize. Mr. Jamal Andrewin-Bohn, Conservation Program Manager at BZTEC received the award on her behalf.'

Video of the day.  Congratulations, Vitalino Reyes!  Mr. Reyes won the Minister's Award at the 14th annual BTB Tourism Awards.  He's the owner of Cavetubing.BZ, which does tours around Hohoch Che'en.

Congratulations, San Ignacio Resort Hotel!  The SIRH won 2 awards from the Belize Tourism Board at the 14th annual Belize Tourism Awards.  They won the Hotel of the Year award, and the Best Restaurant award for their Running W Restaurant.  Well deserved!
