Supa G is coming to Cayo this Saturday for the Santa Elena Primary School's Fundraising Dance. The Super Furia Band will be performing too, and DJ Bitta will be mixing in between. It'll be held at the SHC auditorium, and the fun starts at 9pm.

The first End of Summer Western Explosion is just over a month away. Saturday, August 12th, at Galvez stadium. They have a huge lineup, with Supa G, Ernestine Carballo, Sweet Pain Band, and many more.

Tequila Night Club's grand opening is Friday night, and the theme is Punta Christmas.  Supa G will be performing, as will the Caribbean Riddim Band. DJ Mesmerize will be mixing.

The 2021 Battle of the Drums and the Garifuna Music Festival were last night. Amazing talent from drummers and singers alike.  

The 2019 La Ruta Maya is just 2 weeks away.  The Launch Party will be on Thursday, and will be the biggest one yet.  They'll have Supa G, TR Shine, XBand, and the New Sensation Band.  They'll have fireworks too.

Belize is the focus of this year's Cultural Exchange at the New Orleans Jazz Fest, which starts tomorrow.  The Garifuna Collective, TR Shine, Sweet Pain with Chico Ramos and Supa G, and the Wageirale Drummers are some of the Belizean performers.  Hope they have a great time sharing their wonderful music.

"This year, festival goers will have the opportunity to hear music, see demonstrations and learn about the history and customs of the small Caribbean country of about 300,000, which includes people of Maya, Mestizo, Creole, East Indian, Garifuna, Chinese, Lebanese, Mennonite and Caribbean descent. The country was under British rule until 1981. The national language is English."

The Cayo North September Shutdown is planned for Wednesday, September 20th. Ring in the 42nd Independence Day at Galvez stadium. It's free, and it starts at 10pm. Supa G and the Gilharry 7 Band will be performing.

Happy 10th anniversary to the Cayo Welcome Center! So many awesome concerts and events have transpired there over the decade, from Ascenthium to Supa G, and heath fairs to art shows. Here's to many more decades of community oriented events. Pictures are from 2012.

The date is set for the West Punta Fest. It'll be on Saturday, October 26th, at Sacred Heart College. Come out and wish Mark a happy birthday while dancing the night away.  Supa G will be there, as will Clayton Williams, Taprick, and the New Generation Band.

Oceana had a celebratory concert for the permanent protection of the Belize reef.  The World Culture Band represented Cayo amidst the wide range of amazing Belizean artists that performed at the event.  The bill shows the true power of the people. 

"Oceana's Rock the Reef free concert took place at the Memorial Park on Saturday, December 9th, 2017. The concert was held to celebrate the collective leadership and persistent involvement of tens of thousands of Belizeans for more than seven years on the issue of offshore oil in Belize. Given Belize’s economic dependence on our marine assets, the passing of the Petroleum Operations Maritime Bill 2017, that places an indefinite moratorium on offshore oil in Belize’s marine territory, safeguards our diverse marine environment and the Belize Barrier Reef from the inherent dangers of offshore oil. The stellar lineup of artists included Tanya Carter, Melonie Gillett, Dajah, World Culture Band, C Wills backed up by the Larubeya Band, Verge of Umbra, and Supa G."

The Belmopan City Council is having their annual Belmopan Day this Saturday, July 30th, starting at 10:00am, at Mae Gordon Park.  There will be fun and games, food, and great music from the New Sensation Band and Supa G.
