The Western Ballaz remain undefeated this year, after beating the Belmopan Red Taigaz 61 - 60 last Friday. Congratulations, Western Ballaz!
In related news, they travel to Belize City this weekend to play the Hurricanes, and many of the players will be in the All Star game on April 10th.

The Western Ballaz will be hosting the Belize City No Limit this Friday, March 6th, starting at 9:00pm. Western Spirit Cycling Team is hosting the half time with a 3 point shoot out, where the first person who makes 9 points wins $100. Mistah Geeh will be mixing, and the after party is at Thirsty Thursdays. Go, Ballaz! In related news, the Red Taigaz will be hosting the Running Rebels on Thursday.

The Western Ballaz are hosting the Belmopan Red Taigaz, the 2nd best team in the league, tomorrow night. It's going to be a great game. Mistah Geeh will be mixing, and the afterbash is once again at Thirsty Thursdays. In related news, you can vote for the all star team member selection. Just go to the NEBL page, and like your favorite player. It's North vs. South, and it'll be happening at the SHC auditorium on April 10th.

The Belmopan Active Youths teamed up with the Red Taigaz to refurbish Independence Park. Thanks, BAY, and Red Taigaz! "This weekend we made some more progress on our Community Park Rehab Project at the Independence Park. We were happy to have some players from the Belmopan Red Taigaz Elite Basketball Team assist us with completing the painting of our playhouse and constructing one more sandbox. It was a successful and fun-filled day! We look forward to continuing building strong partnerships with organizations in Belmopan and by extension our community. Together we can make our City a better place for everyone! Educate! Engage! Empower!"

The Belmopan Red Taigaz are hosting the Dangriga Warriors in their first home game of the season tonight. It'll take place at the UB gym, which is their home court. That after parties will be at the Wingstop until midnight, and then it'll move to Mike's Cue Club. Go, Red Taigaz! In related news, the Western Ballaz are playing the Toledo Diplomats this weekend, and they are still finalizing where it will be played.
