Capture Photography has released pictures from the entry to Rebecca Stirm's Runway Release Autumn/Winter 2013 fashion show.

Tonight is Rebecca Stirm's big night!  The Autumn/Winter 2013 Runway Release.  Not only is Rebecca from Cayo, but both Miss Belizes are too.  

"On January 26th, Mission Catwalk finalist/Belizean Womenswear Designer Rebecca Stirm will be releasing her new Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection on the runway!

The runway show will feature:

Rebecca Stirm's new collection of ready-to-wear separates, cocktail dresses, and luxurious evening gowns, paired with Belizean Jewelry Designer Khadija Assales' [Caribbean Fashion Week- 2012] NEW collection of handcrafted jewelry.

Worn by - Belize's Miss World 2012 Contestant - Chantae Guy,
Queen of the Jewel/Miss Ethnic World [2012-2013] Destinee Arnold,
and eleven other trained runway models.

The contestants for La Reina de la Costa Maya were at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel last night.  They posed for pictures over drinks and appetizers.  Rebecca Stirm, who represented Belize on Mission Catwalk, was one of the special guests.  The Running W Steakhouse prepared an exquisite meal for everyone.  Thanks go out to the SIRH for hosting an amazing night.  The ladies really enjoyed their stay in Cayo.

The Queen of the Jewel delegates will be having a fashion show tomorrow night at 8:00 at Midas.  See the delegates for the next Miss Belize wear designs from Joris Hendrik, Rebecca Stirm, and RH Creations.  General seating is $15, and reserved is $20.  

Rebecca Stirm has won for the fourth time on Mission Catwalk.  One of the 2 dresses she made this week was inspired by a turtle after a visit to the zoo.  Nice!

"After a visit to the Hope Zoo in St Andrew, the seven remaining contestants were instructed to design a gown for a charity gala and a second garment for a charity luncheon inspired by one animal from the zoo.  Stirm chose the turtle because it was 'an unusual and unique animal that people didn't already have preconceptions about what a dress inspired by that animal should look like,' she explains.  Using a patterned fabric, she created a gown with a dramatic neckline, and for the skirt created layers from circular cut-outs that mimic a turtle's shell.  For her second outfit the patterned fabric was more prominent and used for most of the blouse while creating a pencil skirt in a monotone beige."

Rebecca Stirm garnered her 3rd win yesterday on the 6th episode of Jamaica's Mission Catwalk.  She won with a dress based upon the red ribbon signifying HIV/AIDS awareness.  Congratulations again, Rebecca!

Rebecca said, "I made an effort not to over-style and keep the emphasis on the neckline and HIV/AIDS awareness ribbon by sticking to a simple colour palette and styling with a pair of chunky studded earrings."

Guest judge, Dr. Sharlene Jarrett said, "Rebecca's chic interpretation allowed the red ribbon to be the focus without overpowering the design."

Rebecca Stirm is having modeling auditions today at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel.  She is looking for 16 to 30 year olds, that are 5' 7" or taller.  More fashion shows are coming soon.

Tonight the San Ignacio Resort Hotel will be welcoming the delegates of La Reina de la Costa Maya to Cayo.  They'll be getting a great meal at the Running W Steakhouse.  Rebecca Stirm will be one of  the special invited guests.

Rebecca Stirm still leads with the most wins, 3, in Mission Catwalk.  Here are her designs from the last 2 weeks.  The first is from the 'avant guard' competition, and the second is from the 'spandex' competition.  Good luck, Rebecca!
