The Benque HoC will be having their Finados tomorrow for the Dia de los Muertos.  They will also be honoring Elias Awe.  The 9:00am prayer time has filled up, but they'll have space starting at 10:30.  Later in the evening, they'll have their Noche de Cuenta Cuentos, where David Ruiz and Pedro Can, among others, will tell some stories about Benque.

"Just to let you know, we are booked for tomorrow's prayer time that will start at 9:00 a.m so if you are planning to visit you are always welcome after 10:30 am.  Prayer leader will be Mrs. Maria Bejerano Martines, prayer ladies will be HelpAge Benque and students of Mt Carmel Primary. Also representatives of ISCR, Belize Archives & Records Service, National Heritage Library and Capital Newspaper will be present."

The Benque House of Culture and CACHE are having another Noche de Cuenta Cuentos on Friday, November 1st, starting at 7:00pm.  Once again David Ruiz, along with others like Pedro Can, will be telling some thrilling tales.

In related news, the Finados alter display is that same day, and it will be an homage to Mr. Elias Awe.  It will start at 9:00am and go until 5:00pm.
