Sacred Heart Junior College's Hands for Life club teamed up with some of the Taiwanese Educational Leadership Group to do some facepainting, and some wall painting, while raising funds for Mary Open Doors. They also had some delicious baked goods. The wall between Burns and the Cayo Welcome Center looks a lot better.

Sacred Heart Junior Colege's Hands for Life club, along its Creative Expressions Club had a fun event at Express Oh! for the kids from Western Children's Home. Thanks to everyone that took their time to brighten the kids' day. Pictures on fb. Pictures from Express Oh! "The Kids from the Western Children's Home left happy, today was wonderful, the Shjc HandsforLife students were so impressive, they worked so hard and prepared fun games and prizes, the Drama Club from Shjc Oss were amazing with their Performances! Peace and Justice Park got an upgrade courtesy of the students from Sacred Heart Junior College's Hands for Life club and the visiting students from BRCC. They cleaned the park, and added a swingset and slide. They will also fix the old swingset and add a tire playground soon. Thanks, SHJC and BRCC!

The Swigs Party is tonight at the Bedran Hall. SHJC's Hands for Life club is bringing in Cloud 9, and having a battle of the DJ's contest, alongs with having food, Caribbean Cooler shooters, and jello shots. All funds raised will go towards providing school supplies and building playgrounds for Cayo primary schools. Support a great cause, and have a fun time!

The Swigs Party with Cloud 9 is just over a week away. The Hands for Life club has released a cool flier for the dance. There will be free jello shots and 'nurse shots' most of the night, thanks to Island Time Beverages. Yes, all 3 flavors will be abundant. There will also be a battle of the DJ's. Sacred Heart Junior College's Hands for Life Club had their Christian concert Friday night. There was great music, good food, and even a double up booth. Samantha Tzib, who had organized previous Christian concerts, was definitely there in spirit.
"Sacred Heart Junior College's Hands for Life club will be having a Christian concert tomorrow night. They'll have Mission 3:16, Omega, and Creaven there, along with the Cornerstone Youth Group, the San Ignacio Baptist Youths, and the Shekinah Dance Group. Digicell will also be on hand to do their double up promotion. The entrance is free!"

The Hand for Life club at SHJC is doing a Chetumal bus trip as a fundraiser and it leaves on Sunday, April 11th. It's an overnighter, and includes Bacalar too, for only $95. "Please support !!!! Open to the general public ....."

Feelgood news of the day. Arms of Love primary school in Kontiki got a swingset and slide today. Baton Rouge Community College students are on their service learning trip, and they teamed up with Sacred Heart Junior College's Hands for Life club to make the playground a reality. The kids loved their new playground. Future plans are to add on tire playgrounds. Thanks, BRCC and SHJC!
