Cayo Scoop! The Ecology of Cayo Culture

Full Basket Belize, an NGO that provides scholarships and grants around Cayo and Belize, is taking applications for scholarships.  They are taking applications through the 21st of February.  In Cayo, where they currently have 5 scholarships recipients attending Sacred Heart College, the scholarships can be used at SHC, Cayo Christian Academy, Mopan Technical, or Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Thanks, FBB!

 

"We have begun our annual process of looking for deserving secondary students to receive Full Basket Belize scholarships for the 2014-15 academic year.  Each $1000 BZ scholarship covers tuition, books, fees, and uniforms.  The first step in the process is for interested Belizean secondary schools to apply to be participating schools by completing this form by February 21, 2014.  Then we send each participating school a scholarship application to photocopy and handout to students in great need of a scholarship.  We are looking for outstanding students who demonstrate financial need, represent their schools positively, do well academically, and participate actively in their communities."
