Citrus Lantana is known for its hardiness, heat tolerance, and lovely blooms. It thrives in the heat and will continue blooming into fall.

I am in the process of removing all of my grass and replacing it with native Florida plants that are drought resistant. The Citrus Lantana is on my list to buy and plant!
People seem to want pristine grass has which requires harmful weed killers and fertilizer. And here's the clincher, the grass that serves no useful purpose has been the culprit of damaging our water ways.
My husband and I bought the home he was raised in, his family moved to Merritt Island in the 1970's. The waterways were filled with crabs and fish, they would set crab traps for dinner. But rain washed the weed killer and fertilizer into the canals and river.
I would love to see anyone who lives on a navigable get rid of their grass or be okay with letting it grow natural with out pesticides.
