Wall Street Journal's top editor says they won't call Trump a liar when Trump lies | Ayahuasca News | Scoop.it
On this weekend's Meet the Press, WSJ editor in chief Gerard Baker said that even when he was clear that Trump had uttered a falsehood, his paper would not call that falsehood a lie, because to do so would ascribe "moral intent" to Trump; instead, the WSJ will call Trump's lies "challengeable" and "questionable."

Did the Japanese know Navajo code talkers were used in WWII but were unable to crack the language or did they have no clue what language it was? - Quora | Ayahuasca News | Scoop.it
Yes, the Japanese had a pretty good idea that it was Navajo. This is why they tortured a Navajo named Joe Kieyoomia (1919–1997). He was captured in the Philippines and on the Bataan Death march. Later, he survived Nagasaki, too. He was a member of the New Mexico 200th Coast Artillery.

La coca nunca será cero

La coca nunca será cero | Ayahuasca News | Scoop.it

Are native Americans extinct? - Quora | Ayahuasca News | Scoop.it

Not only are they not “extinct” (not a word we use for people or cultures) but there are a number of cities and states where they constitute a large minority of the population. And, there is a long list of smaller towns in which they are the majority of the population! I count 87 towns that are between 1000 and 10,000 people where the majority are Native American. Those towns are in 21 states...

A Normal Person Who Does Drugs Sometimes

A Normal Person Who Does Drugs Sometimes | Ayahuasca News | Scoop.it

I live with four other adults. We all use drugs and manage to do the things that respectable citizens do: We hold down jobs and don’t break other laws. I hangout as a group of women prepare food on a Friday night for a big lunch we will host tomorrow. Women cooking together is a tale as old as time. Lucia* is doing lines of ketamine. After preparing a few dishes, she moves into the role of the entertainer, her dreamy reflections making everyone laugh. There are no eyebrows raised or judgments passed, as Lucia nears a K-hole. We all look out for her, and she enjoys a night among friends with her drug of choice.

The consciousness research of Stanislav Grof

The consciousness research of Stanislav Grof | Ayahuasca News | Scoop.it
Over the development of his career Grof has steadily moved from the reductionistic stance of psychoanalysis toward holism. He has come to re-evaluate some forms of mental illness as a crisis in spiritual evolution. His view of human development is holotropic: All individuals are moving toward wholeness. GrofÕs psychology is teleological in the sense first introduced by Carl Jung: Our individual evolution can best be understood in terms of a trajectory that considers both where we have been and where we are going, rather than past history alone. Grof has applied these ideas to develop a new approach to psychotherapy and personal growth that he calls holotropic therapy. GrofÕs initial work involved the use of the much maligned and controversial drug, LSD. Yet his theories were able to gain some measure of acceptance during a time when psychedelic drug research has been officially repressed
