Try a cosmic-sized threat wrapped up in a Freaky Friday-type scenario. ""I got to work with James Bamford a lot," said Gustin. "He's one of Arrow's stunt coordinators and directors, and he's worked with Stephen very closely for seven seasons. I got some training with archery, which was very cool and probably the hardest part. I had never done that. There were a lot of aspects that I wasn't aware of as far as keeping the elbow down and how heavy the bow actually is and tricks to pulling the string back. It was mostly getting used to that." "Oliver's time in prison will impact Arrow Season 7 and this is how." Arrow director James Bamford opened up on what fans could expect to see without giving away how long Oliver will actually remain behind bars. On Oliver having to hang around his opponents, Bamford teased: "The dynamics in that prison, depending on how long he stays in that prison, are very, very different from the Oliver and the dynamic that you've seen on the rest of the show previously. So it's a new element to this show that way, and it's something that you haven't seen before. And you're gonna find it really interesting. For instance, what would happen if Batman went to prison, and in the cell next to him, The Joker was just chilling, making hamburgers, or what have you. The possibilities are endless of trying to take advantage of all the situations that could and would probably arise within that sort of mythology."

The network announced Thursday that its fall season will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 9 with the return of The Flash and Black Lightning. Furthermore, it also revealed one major change to its fall schedule: Arrow, which will return for its seventh season on Monday, Oct. 15, is taking over the 8 p.m. slot instead of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which will air at 9 p.m. starting Oct. 22 when it premieres. Leo Award Nominations For Arrow
Congratulations to Corey Robson, Curtis Braconnier and Eli Zagoudakis for their Leo Award nominations. The Leo Awards recognise excellence in film and television in British Columbia. Corey is nominated for Best Cinematography in a Dramatic Series for the episode, "Who Are You?". Curtis and Eli are nominated for Best Stunt Co-ordination in a Dramatic Series for the season opener, Fallout, directed by James Bamford. Some of the stunts included the Green Arrow's stunning leap off the bridge to save Wild Dog and Diggle and Felicity fleeing the explosions on the island. List of nominations The awards ceremonies will be on Saturday May 26, Saturday June 2 (Cinematography) and Sunday June 3 (Stunt Co-ordination).
