Most of us plan as we want to know when the tasks are completed. The best way to understand when a task is truly over is by ensuring that the plan is completely incorporated with the project execution and is forever upgraded. The elements included in this plan comprises of the organization functions and the individuals that have deliverables and roles in the project that comprises tests, development and the ones who define the needs.

Je ne peux que recommander la lecture du livre à tous ceux qui ont quelques problèmes avec la dynamique de leurs équipes agiles, car bon nombre des 42 outils proposés sont très pertinents (mais parfois difficile à utiliser).

The wait is over for the next generation of ALM, as new Agile ALM tools and techniques provide a path to greater productivity. To many in the IT industry, the introduction of application lifecycle management (ALM) as a central discipline in software development ten years ago was seen as nothing short of revolutionary. But every revolution must itself confront change, in this case overcoming challenges with legacy ALM products that proved to be too monolithic, inflexible or costly to manage.

ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) means different things to different people, and these views are largely influenced by tool vendors. IBM users may bias their view of ALM to things that the Rational toolset is good at — say requirements traceability and Java-oriented modelling. Microsoft users may see ALM as being about using TFS (Team Foundation Server) — with Visual Studio integrated sprints, tasks and testing tools.

Integrated Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) has undergone in advance changes over the last decade. Achieving successive ALM has been utterly a prolonged transport for countless vendors. Recently there have been a emergences of brand new age technologies which have grown to a critical prolongation complement realizing a differently overpower benefits of ALM to genuine development.

Comme vous avez certainement déjà pu le remarquer, je suis un fervent défenseur de l’artisanat logiciel. Pas parce que cela doit être une finalité en soit pour tout le monde mais parce je pense que c’est la meilleure façon de défendre notre métier. Aussi parce que je me sens en phase avec tous ses concepts, mais cela ne tient qu’à moi...
