At first glance this headline seemed pretty wild, but after reading this I found it very interesting that this process is possible and can be beneficial for the future.

The thought of "toilet to tap" sounds repulsive but when you look at the processes the water actually goes through, the idea of implementing this system isnt so far outta line. Most water ends up recycled in one way or another anyway.

Some of the earlier water re-use plans were to restore wetwells along the coast, providing a barrier between ocean and ground water. but thats a small percentage compared to whats dumped into the ocean. I say just tap directly into ground water and call it a day. But the money that could be made....
