This article shares what tools can be used to record audio to add to Google Slide presentations as it does not have an inbuilt recording feature. I can see the potential for implementing these tools in the classroom for both teacher and student. Teachers may use this as a way to prerecord lessons if they know that they or their students are going to miss a class or will want to review the slides at a later time. Students could use this in multi-modal presentations in a way to incorporate audio as a mode.

To use voice typing in Google Docs simply open the "tools" drop-down menu and select "voice typing." When you make that selection a microphone icon will appear in the margin of your document. Once the icon appears, click it, allow Google to access your microphone, and start talking. Your spoken words will almost instantly appear on in the document. Via Shona Whyte
