The government’s Year of Code campaign has been in the line of fire since its launch in early February, with one of its advisors quitting less than a week in only adding petrol to the flame.
The campaign to get young people excited about computer science has drawn much criticism, with its plans to inject £500,000 into computing teacher training to ensure schools are prepared for software coding when the new ICT curriculum starts in September 2014. Via Javier Pagès López

Aunque existe un agitado debate sobre su idoneidad, por lo menos en UK tienen un plan para potenciar la educación y el interés de los escolares en el conocimiento de la informática.
¡Ójala en España pudiésemos debatir sobre si nuestro plan es bueno, malo o medio pensionista! Por desgracia no hay nada sobre lo que debatir.
Una verdadera lástima, porque la Informática #Esingeniería, y una de las más necesarias e imprescindibles en la sociedad del s.XXI, y si no logramos atraes a los futuros profesionales a nuestra carrera el día de mañana lo lamentaremos aún más que en la actualidad.
El tiempo corre, y el tren no espera a nadie. |
