USCIS Translation Certification

USCIS Translation Certification | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

What is the certification of translation?
It is a formal statement by translator undertaking that he or she has translated the foreign language document into English, accurately, with complete precision and to the best of his knowledge.

Requirements for USCIS
Immigration to the US calls for some specific requirements and their adherence to the criteria is strictly asked for, not complying with which can ultimately result in annulment of the whole process. One of the steps is based on document submission and that too in English, for it is the official language of US. These comprise of a number of personal documents such as birth certificate, marriage certificate, academic transcripts etc.
Now the whole point lies in translating these personal documents
into English if it is in any other language than English.
People do get attracted by convenient and cheaper methods of
translation that are machine translation or they even prefer a friend
or relative to do them the favor but little do they know that it would
eventually be translated but in somewhat sloppy and inaccurate
manner. These means neither guarantee accuracy nor do they take
any responsibility for any inaccuracy that might be pointed out
while going through official scrutiny and procedure. One slight error can make you land you in a number of problems, you might even have to give up on your dream of getting the citizenship altogether. Do you really want to face such severe consequences for one slight error? The answer is certainly no.

To put things in correct order, documents ought to be translated by
a well-known certified translation agency. Who could provide USCIS translation certification with full confidence owing to the fullest of their abilities, knowledge, and field of work. Professional companies familiar with immigration cases makes sure that your translations are undertaken with full responsibility and ensures the acceptability of the document by USCIS.

USCIS clearly states that the certified documents be provided
irrespective of whichever language you are translating the
document from.
 Certification formatting – USCIS translation certification
requires the format which should carry the certifier's name,
address, date of certification followed by his signature.
 First time right - Saves you a lot of time by being properly out
in the first attempt avoiding issues like delayed processing
time and receiving an RFE (request for evidence)
 Meeting the requirements – Certified translation service
providers meets and even exceeds the United States
Citizenship Immigration Services requirements.
 Specialized services – Specialized service providers, like those
for legal or personal, reviews your documents provide
certification stamp and then notarizes it.

Request for evidence
In case of discrepancies in documents found by USCIS, an RFE is
requested. This calls for a certified translated document that needs to be submitted within a month of reception of RFE. If you fail to submit the additional evidence within the stipulated time then the process can be denied coming to a standstill. Always look up to certified translations no matter for what purpose the translation is required for. This will save you from a lot of
trouble.

....................................

#02 – Terminologies used in Translation Industry
Jargons used in translation industry are numerous, here we will give you a brief overview of the most widely used terminologies only. You will come across them every now and then. Just so you don't have that confused look while dealing we present to you the
following.

Source and target language
Source language is the original language document which needs to be translated to target language. Say if you want to translate your document from English to French then English here would be your source language and French as the corresponding target language. In highly professional translation agencies, the target language is usually the native language of the translator. This is so as to make sure that the translator not only has command over the language but also masters in the cultural nuances. And considering the cultural peculiarities put the document through accordingly.
Globalization
Globalization takes place when different cultures, trading and
money fuse together due to the advancement of technology. The
major rise has been witnessed in businesses targeting foreign
markets for increased sale.
This is where the role of a translation agency comes into play. A
translation agency helps in localizing and internationalizing the
products.
• Localization
Adapting a product to the needs of a specifically targeted country is known as localization. It involves considering all aspects pertaining to culture, language, dialect, and currency. The translation agency will help translate your product’s features and benefits to the prospective clients. Localizing the products have seen a significant hike in past few years owing to its ease of use and escalated sale results.

• Internationalization
This step is usually done one time, which can later be adapted to
different languages and cultures in localization step. It is the
designing of core code that can be amended to local needs
whichever you need.
Localization coupled with internationalization leads to globalization.
Interpretation
Contrary to the translation of written words, interpretation is the
rendering of oral spoken communication from one language to
another.
Transcreation
Transcreation is usually used for translation of marketing material.
Marketing strategy often uses puns and wordplay for defining the
brand image. Transcreation aids in translating the document not
literally but in close accordance with the marketing copy keeping in
mind the context and cultural preferences, tone and style.
This very category of translation is best handled by highly skilled
and professional translators. Only can they take on this challenging task and put into consideration the cultural nuances and deliver a better translate document than a mere word-to-word- translation.

........................................

#03 – Types of Translation
Machine Translation
Machine translation or MT is the automated process of translating
word for word. MT is getting better and popular with time. But there would always be limitations to it in that it is devoid of the key
feature of translating the document considering the cultural nuances it gives a literal translation to be exact lacking the essence of the main text.
Machine translation faces struggles in recognizing the whole
phrases and matching them with the closest corresponding phrases in the target language. MT can, however, be used for getting the exact substitute of the word/s related to more formal fields like that of legal but for more natural language application and continuity it lacks true essence.
Marketing strategy especially needs to use phrases and taglines that are catchy in their own way. The casual colloquialisms which bring feel and attracts the consumers are rarely put that way by the machine translators.
Computer Aided Translation
The king of translation in which a “human translator uses computer
hardware to support and facilitate the translation process.”
Equipped with the database of words, CAT offers the right
translation, making the process of translation easy for the
translator. It is more like a spell checker of MS word, which
highlights and offers the correct word or phrase for any wrong or
misspelled word.
They store the previous data of translated source text and their
corresponding target text. It is tremendously popular among
translators and every high ranking professional translation service
provider is equipped with CAT tools. Coping with the trend our
translators are also equipped with this advanced memory program.
It is widely effective in long-term projects lying under the same
category, where there are lots of repeated words and segments. Its
benefits can be huge but still cannot surpass human efficiency and is actually dependant on human input. An incorrectly used word or
phrase can otherwise prove to be extra problematic.
Human Translators
The accuracy and quality that human translators offer are

impossible to beat. Human translation is considered the most labor- intensive translation service in translation industry so they can cost more but the value would be guaranteed in that case. The machine translations or computer-aided tools are just for assisting the human translators in many folding their efficiency. They can’t stand on their own.

Don’t settle for any less, when you can opt for the best!

................................................

#04 – Quotes and Costing
Every translation project will cost you some bucks. But what should be kept in mind before handing over your project to the agency?
What pricing methods are there on the market? And the factors that affect the cost of translation services? To acquaint you with the frequently used practices here is a complete guide for the same; Different translation agencies offer different pricing methods some use rate per word while others as the rate per page or per line. Now that wouldn’t give you a clear picture of which one to choose and who would actually be providing quality services.
Word, Page & Line Counts
It is always recommended to compare word count. Always opt for
the ones offering their services and Costing on the basis of word
count. Lines and pages are driven by the margins, size and style of
font and line spacing. If you have opted for word count such things
song matter in that case.

The output of target language can differ from that of the source
language. The translated text of the target language can be shorter or longer than the source file because of its structure and characters. It is therefore advisable to consider the output format and word count mentioned in the quote.
For instance text in Spanish can take up considerably more space
than that of English. Though nothing can be said for sure it is better to have a rough idea and estimation prior to handing over your project.

..................................

#05 – Factors Affecting Cost
As much as length matters in determining the cost of a translation
document, there are certainly other things that count too in
estimating the cost.
Subject Matter
Technicalities
The more technical a document is the costlier it will be. Because it
would require extra time, attention, expertise, and understanding of
the subject matter. So if you are looking for the handling of your
technical document then you should look into the agency's expertise in the field of your choosing and look at their precious records and reviews by other clients to get a better idea.
Marketing material
Marketing material needs equal attention and creativity. If it’s not
creatively attempted then the end result might lack in the actual
essence of the source text.
We know exactly what our clients want that is why we handle each
project with equal care and absolute precision. We assign the task to the most relevant translator having the highest level of expertise in his field. If you want a technical document to be translated we
choose technical post-graduates from our experienced staff.
Freelancers can rarely be entrusted with such responsibilities.
Cost depending on rarity of language
There are certain language combinations that are infrequent. These rare languages are difficult to tackle and have rare translators hence are usually costly.
Formatting
Estimating the word count and fixing rate is easier and hence
cheaper in word files which are editable. On the other hand, scanned and PDF files may have ambiguities in the word count which affects the cost in return. We for added accuracy run the document through the OCR tools
(optical character recognition) to get a word count and accurate
quote the very first time.
Output
As has been explained earlier, the addition of more technicalities
calls for an increased price. If your output requires the publication,
website content management or complete designing of brochures
along with translation – then the agency may cost you few extra
bucks for those additional services.
Urgency
The more urgent a task is the costlier it will be. A short time notice
would require accommodating all the services in a few hours or a
few days. It is therefore advised to plan the translation service
requirement in advance so as to minimize the cost. We on the other hand have and will always entertain our clients with the most

affordable and flexible rates meeting your budget needs. We don’t
have any hidden fee and mention the quote in a straightforward
manner.
The above-mentioned factors can heavily influence the prices of
translation. If the document is urgently required while it also has to
be technically dealt, by giving it a proper website shape, then that
will increase the cost much more.

Proofreading

Proofreading plays a vital role as it eliminates all unnecessary words and corrects the poorly structured phrases. It has always helped in  polishing the document and enhancing the end results.
Proofreading too requires specialist expertise to spot the details and point out the minor or major discrepancies which an ordinary person is unable to do so. The cultural nuances if not corrected in the translated document can have an impact on your sales and growth altogether. Our proofreaders are our translators who take on the task and gives a smoother finer output.

......................

#06 – Quality and speed
Achieving a high quality, fast turnaround and affordable price for a
translation is possible as they are closely interlinked. But there are a few things that do affect the three factors individually or collectively.
File format
An editable file i.e. in the form of the Word is very convenient for
translators to use, helping them in finding the word count easily
hence reverting with a faster quote with fair charges. It also
consequently helps in translating the document easily and quickly.

So it’s always advisable to use proper formatting while sending the
document to the translator for quick and affordable services.
Context behind translation
Giving a context for the translation could be of great value both to
the translators and clients. Like giving a slight description about
audiences that who must they be and who is being targeted. One
should also give the details about the purpose of translation i.e. if it’s for escalating sales or if the document needs to be submitted for immigration purposes. Also the final format of the document (e.g. website, magazine, pamphlet, brochure, technical manual).
Reference material
While additional relevant information could also be of great benefit
pertaining to that of previous translations, company style guide,
glossaries etc.
....................
#07 – Choosing the Right Solution
Machine Translation
As already discussed, machine translations are free and best suited for finding a substitute of a word or two. But! They have limitations of not understanding the context correctly and their accuracy is always at stake. It is not a guaranteed way by any means. Such tools are just for aiding people and can’t stand on their own for carrying out guaranteed accurate results. They eventually, if used, can tarnish your image in the business world leading to reduced sales and decelerating pace of growth.
If you still aren’t convinced, try it yourself by translating from there
first and then assigning the same to a professional translator. You
will see a huge difference. Nothing in today’s life is for free if it

doesn’t cost you a thing here it would cost you – the huge deficit in
your business. And you can’t afford any risks in today’s competitive age.
Do-It-Yourself
Some people rely on their own skills or of their immediate
colleagues or friends, who are so-called fluent in the source
language and the corresponding target language. The considerable free options kind of always attracts but they always come with consequences. Being fluent or bilingual can’t ever be equivalent to the techniques that a professional translator uses. Professional translators are equipped with the in-depth knowledge of translation techniques, a very wide vocabulary, research skills and experience which you or your colleague may lack. So never attempt do-it- yourself unless you are dead sure that you can yield the same results as that of a professional translator.
Freelance or Professional Translation Agency? Which one to
opt for? People are usually faced with the quizzical query of whether to choose freelancer or translation agency to entrust their translation with. The proliferation of the internet has significantly changed the dynamics of the working environment. With everyone’s reach to the web world, the possibilities of landing a job for any and everyone is equally alike and easier than before. With it also comes, the
advantage of working on one's own. But on the contrary, affiliating
with a company the credibility doubles up. What should a client do
in that case? Should he opt for a freelancer or an agency? The
answer is quite obvious that is a translation agency, not being biased but it takes the responsibility head-on while also offering a number of other features. Following will brief you about the advantages a translation agency could bless you with, unlike the freelancers. This is said with such surety because many clients come to us after having a poor experience with the freelancers and DIY techniques.
Agencies have extensive range of translators
Agencies have translators ranging from one and all fields. They
know better who would be suitable for your translation knowing
their expertise better. They work closely with translators ensuring
best results. Having a number of translators also give the upper
hand of having a multitude of the workforce. This gives the agency
the ability to beat deadlines as they can use a number of their
translators instead of just one trusted translator who might be busy with some other task.
Agencies have committed project managers
Larger translation agencies have dedicated p88roject managers who make sure to communicate and simplify the process for you. They act as mediators between clients and agency. They also make sure to minimize the problems if and so any arises. They get back to clients with one simple email comprising of the copy of document and invoice avoiding unnecessary emails and confusing points id contact.
Agencies have outstanding proofreading processes
Proofreading helps in polishing the end result. It aids in eliminating
all mistakes big and small. Having numerous translators, translation agencies can hand down the translated material to anyone of them who can recheck the whole document for any kind of misspells or wrongly used phrases and correct tricky technical mistakes if there are any.

Should you use your Local Sales Agent?
In most of the cases, companies employ sales agent in a certain
geographic location instead of having to bear the extra expenses of allying satellite offices of employing staff. Such partnerships are
better strategically for growing sales but they should not be
considered for translation purposes. It’s because of the fact that they lack experience in the translation field. They hence lack in the communications methods thereby devoiding the brand message of the actual essence. They might as well be the representatives of other brands and using them may hegemonies your message.
............................
#08 – Choosing the right partner
How does one choose the right translation partner?
By now you would have understood how important it is for your
brand to be projected in the right manner by dedicated and most
proficient service providers. They can be none other than the
translation agencies who take full responsibility upon themselves to give you best experience of your life. Since you’ve realized the fact you wouldn’t want the local sales agents or freelancers to undertake your project and in return give you a sloppy, inaccurately attempted translation.
Most of the clients that come to us have some sour prior experience with local sales agents, freelancers, and local in-country staff. Where we as translation agency strive to meet ends by beating deadlines and providing best of the best quality services, those sales agents, unfortunately, failed to do so. Where our staff comprises of thousands of skilled individuals having years of experience, then how can an inexperienced freelancer match our standards and efficiency.
The global market has flourished by leaps and bounds over the
years so in order to come at par with it businesses look for highly
competent translators. Those of them who are expert enough in the terms you use and the terminologies of relevant industry of the
language you are targeting also knowing about the medium you are using for projecting your message (e.g. website, brochure, print, electronic etc.)
What is it that you should look for while shortlisting a translation
partner?
Experience, the key to best outcomes
There is no substitute for experience. Experience can beat all the
odds. In case of translation, experience should be considered from 3 main perspectives.
Time served – the translation company’s time duration in which
they have served the industry tells about their reliability. If they
have been in the industry for more than a decade then it sure would be providing something worth it that is helping in moving it. Also, check statistics about how many clients have they served so far and how many of them returned again for availing their services. This can reassure the fact that it is their quality services that force a client to come back and have their excellent services again.
Industry Experience – a business that’s been established and
running great must be doing something right to have achieved such a level of growth. But it’s not just what they are selling rather it also includes a number of other features like their marketing strategy, what they have been translating and how accurately well are they projecting their image. This will help you in reassuring that they have right kind of translators who are helping them achieve great results. Also, make sure that the translation agency has specific language experience. This will assure you to relax as far as clarity of document is concerned.
Service Experience – documents that need to be translated fall
under various categories. The category of a document can be legal, marketing, sales development with the website as a medium,
brochure, good magazines or technical user manuals. The
translation of every type differed from that of the other. While some can be casual toned others can be highly formal or even emotive depending on the type of document it is. So always look through such features thoroughly and then rest assured for better results. If you see the track record of a company having translated a user manual in Spanish for a manufacturing company then know that you can rely on such agency with your task.
3 key questions to ask:
• How long has the agency translated for?
• Who has the agency translated for?
• What been translated for them?
Asking these questions before giving your translation to some
agency will give you countless end results and you would be
confident enough about who is handling your translation for you.
Price Vs. Quality
Price is one factor among many in choosing a translation agency.
The whole credit can’t be given to just this one factor. If you entrust your translation to any translation service provider solely on the basis of price then you are being unjust to your business leading to results which you wouldn’t have ever imagined.

The lack of quality and accuracy will cost you further by again giving
it for a refined final look. We have dealt with such scenarios a
number of times when clients come to us with an improperly put
translated document or an incomplete one.
Some people send their documents to different translation agencies for getting quotes and go for the lowest per word cost. But if this was the only way to choose then every big industry too would have done the same. But they don’t because they know the real worth of their product so consider all aspects while choosing a translation agency.
The real value comes from professional translations that help in
communicating the brand in the most accurate way possible
understanding the cultural preferences. So the only way to choose
an agency is based on the prices coupled with quality and accuracy.
If you think that quicker response/ quote from the translation
agency means efficient results then you are wrong in thinking so.
they might just be using an automated pricing technique rather than taking into account the actual requirement of the translation
document. We, on the other hand, take 30 minutes in reverting back to our clients only after carefully going through the details and requirements minimizing any chances of discrepancies that might arise in later stages.
Frequency of Your Needs
If your project demands continual updating and it’s ever ongoing,
make sure that the company you choose has the larger workforce
and staffing capabilities to meet your needs as per requirements.
Larger translation agencies are able to accommodate larger projects within the shortest time possible. This will give you the satisfaction of not having to worry about quality, delivery time and
professionalism.

Check for Accreditations and Testimonials
In a matter of choosing great translation agency, it comes with
tremendous benefits. They offer testimonials in any sector. They
also explain their processes and can offer CAT tools to give even
better value for money by recurring terminologies and phrases.
Always look for ATC and EUATC accreditation when looking for a
reliable translation agency. We are proud members of these two
accreditation companies.
There’s no magic formula of getting the right kind of translation
services, you just have to be vigilant and adopt the above mentioned tips and tricks for best results.

Reasons to Use Professional Document Translation Services

Reasons to Use Professional Document Translation Services | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

You have a document that needs to be translated from one language to another for formal presentation to a third party. You are the native speaker of both the original and target languages and do not need a universal translator to explain the content to you? Then why should you spend your hard earned money to get the content translated from one language to another? Because translation agencies are professional agencies that gather all the best translators and develop a system of consistent quality. This means that the translations that go through a translation agency will have a guarantee of quality regardless of the potential and expertise of the translators who are translating. If you have a need for consistency in translation then you will have the best chance with a professional document translation service.
Here are a few of the benefits of using a professional translation agency:

Authenticity: When you are presenting your content and its translation to a third party; the authenticity of the translation is of utmost importance. You need to make sure that the contents are properly translated and are well- phrased and professional in their formatting. This cannot be ensured with a private translator who will not even know how a professional translation is done. But a professional translator will be able to give you the best content translation in the history of all times.

Accountability: When a private translator keeps your document with him for a month and then shows up with a four-page translation, you cannot do much. Not much can be done about someone wasting your time. But you can always hold a translation agency accountable. Translation agencies are very strict about their standards of content quality as well as delivery. This is because they have to build up their reputation in order to strengthen and grow their business. Reputation is everything for translation agencies and they work hard to maintain their reputation.

Experience: Translation agencies have the great experience that is virtually unmatchable in your usual freelance translators. Even when the universal translator on their roster is not very well- trained, they can train him with more senior translators. But they will always have complete knowledge of how to translate even the most complex or precise content that is put on their desk. This goes to say that the translation agencies are more suited than their freelance counterparts to be used for professional translations.

Credibility: Every translation agency has an affiliation with credible and qualified translators. They make sure that all the translators that they use for their translation needs are accredited by qualifying accreditation institutions and are properly trained in their
craft. They also make sure that new and inexperienced translators are working under old
and experience translators so that they do not make any mistakes in their translation. This makes them a better choice than a freelance translator. Universal translator provided by the translation agencies is the best and that is why we always recommend translation agencies for professional document translation services.

Birth Certificate Translation

Birth Certificate Translation | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

Moving from one place to another always seem complicated. Mainly because it involves getting a visa, a passport, registering with a new educational institute, acquiring a new driving license and on top of all, getting a birth certificate translation if the language of the document is different from that of the place you intend to move to. For instance, if you are residing in Spain and you want to move to the UK, you'll definitely need to get your birth certificate translated from Spanish into English.
Now, the most significant aspect that one should always consider is that birth certificate translations cannot be undertaken by any person, it needs to be a certified translator. In summation to the transcribed document, he will also provide a notarized copy for you along with the original document.
In most of the cases, the regular translators are not allowed to produce birth certificate translations. This is due to the fact that they are not a part of the public notary system and they are not authorized to notarize a document. And if a translator provides a birth certificate translation, he would have to go to
the notary commission with the translated copy and the original document to notarize it.

Most companies are charging the same rate which is between 55 to 75 pounds per page, and there are a few which may offer something a little lesser or higher in terms of prices,
However, Dutch Trans charges rate of 20 pounds per page.
Document translation normally takes 1-3 days; but, if you have an urgency and you require the documents translated and processed within 24 hours, you can place your order in the rush service, a service provided by most translation companies.
Although this service lets you receive your documents translated quickly, you must have noticed that this service usually arrives with a massive addition in charges. Some of the companies might even charge double the amount of regular translations.

The process
How do you acquire an official birth certificate translation?
1. Start with asking a quote for the birth certificate translation. The staff will elaborate the whole procedure to you. Scan the documents and send it over to them through email, also mention why the certified translation is required.
2. The company will send a quote and in order to continue with their translation services, you'll have to make a payment and confirm with the company to move further.
3. The company will then look for a certified translator. They would try to find a seasoned translator who has done this kind of work many times.
4. The translator will then commence the translation. A certified translation carries formal titles and set formats that differ from country to country. Therefore, documents such as birth certificates cannot be rendered literally.
5. The certified translation will be later sent to another translator for proofreading, editing, and formatting.
6. This edited document is again sent to the translator for reviewing and finalization.
7. If notarization is required which is the last step in making things official, the translator will then get them notarized and the birth certificate translation will be completed.
8. Generally, the translator will send a hard copy of the birth certificate translation to the client. Not a mandatory condition, but mail is a fast and reliable way of sending the document to the client. The whole process usually takes up to 3 days for completion

When You Need a Document Translation?

When You Need a Document Translation? | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

You are doing life wrong if you don’t have a bunch of documents hidden in some corner of your room. Immediately after the birth of a person, their record gets entered in the government database, and thus begin the many documents they will be issued in their lifetime. All of them have their own importance. Some are needed every day, while others are only important in certain situations. In any case, having a bunch of official papers is a must for every citizen. They are not only proof of their identity but also record their achievements in life.

Important Documents:
Whenever someone is issued a paper by the state or their academic institute, it is in the official language of their country. This means that an official file will only be valid in that country. The official seal does not matter at all when there is a linguistic barrier, and the information on your file cannot be understood by foreign authorities. In such a situation, document translation becomes necessary. It is the process in which a trained professional goes through a file, understands its context and cultural value, and then translates it accordingly.

Nowadays, everyone has a smartphone, which also means that they have countless apps on their fingertips. Many people have come to rely on services like Google Translate for all of their linguistic problems, but in truth, these apps have limitations. These limitations make these apps useless in many situations. People have to turn to human experts in such a scenario to get the right kind of assistance. The same is the case with document translation, which, you may think can be done by software, but can only be handled by human experts.

Document Translation Services
People wonder where they can turn to get help with their documents. Sometimes, the stakes are quite high, like when applying for immigration. No one wants to make any mistake during that process. However, if someone hires an inexperienced translator, then there is a high chance their application will get rejected. Although there are many experts out there who
provide the absolute best services, there are also those who lie and manipulate customers. This is why it can be difficult for people to figure out which service provider is the best.

However, steps like checking reviews and comparing prices with competitors can help customers in making the right decision. It is true that not every agency will be able to provide you with the service you require. But that doesn’t mean no one can help you with your document. In fact, you can even get urgent assistance if you choose the right agency. You won’t have to pay extra to get the translation of your documents, regardless of what they are for.
Make sure that you know what kind of document translation do you need. There are multiple types, like certified and notarized. The former is the most in-demand type of translation and is needed when people are applying for immigration.

It has other uses too. It can be submitted to a university when people are applying for admission. Students need proof of their previous education level, and this is the best way to provide it. When you know why you need linguistic assistance, you can explain your requirements to the service provider easily. This way, you can get the exact translation you require. You will be handed a signed statement of the expert as proof of the document’s accuracy. You can confidently show it to the authorities and apply for immigration and admission with its help. This is how helpful the right translation service can be.

How to get selected by a translation agency as a translator?

How to get selected by a translation agency as a translator? | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

This cycle continues and reaches its peak when we go job hunting. The more our world progresses, the harder it becomes for people to get jobs. The requirements of each company increase and many fail to live up to the standards set up by them. Getting rejected for a job is not the same as not getting admission in a college. Earning a livelihood is far more important than getting in the institute of your choice. A lot more is at stake when you are applying for a job and therefore everyone wants to get accepted after a job interview.

ACCEPTANCE

There is nothing more in life that we want than acceptance. We wish to be acceptable to everyone. As kids, we want to be accepted by our parents and once we start school, we wish to be accepted by our teachers and friends. The wish to get accepted can get people to do weird things. Therefore peer pressure exists, and no one can explain why they did certain things in life to stay in their group of friends. But that is how all of us live life simply because we want to belong somewhere and be accepted by the people we like.

However, acceptance is not that easy. Maybe it comes easy with friends when we are kids but as we grow up, even friendships get harder. Everyone must fulfill some requirements in order to get accepted. People must work so hard to get accepted in the college of their choice. Some retake tests to get the right score, while some put all their efforts in writing their college essay. Many stories of heartbreak emerge when people fail to get in the college of their choice. The hardest thing to come to terms with is the fact that they were not accepted.

THE TRANSLATION INDUSTRY

There are plenty of jobs in the field of languages but none of them is as useful as translation. It is what keeps the world going. It connects people from all over the world, something that would have been impossible without interpretation because people of earth speak more than seven thousand languages. There are many people who wish to work in this industry for plenty of reasons. There will never come a time in the world when people won’t need translations. As long as humans live on the planet, they will need translation services so someone working in this industry will not be replaced with a machine. It is also a field with plenty of work. If someone knows where to look, they can always find a project.

However, how does one get a job with a translation agency?

A translator who wants to get accepted by a translation agency, should have the following qualities:

  • Qualification:

Even though it is a creative field that doesn’t mean anyone can work in it. Agencies have their reputations to maintain and therefore only accept qualified people for job. They can’t hire unqualified translators, or they won’t be able to provide quality work to their clients.

  • Experience:

Experience is just as important in a language service industry as qualification, if not more. Even if you are a fresh graduate and you want to start working with an agency, you must have some practice with translating documents.

You can practice with books in foreign language or use newspaper articles for the task. Once you get good at translating, you can apply to an agency with full confidence.

WHAT ‘S IMPORTANT

Anyone who wants to work with a translation agency should have good work ethics, the right qualification, and enough experience. It is not easy for a translation agency to trust someone with such an important task. Not to mention the fact that someone doing translations has to handle sensitive information.

So, choosing a translator is not an easy decision to make. Agencies adopt a strict hiring process to make sure they only accept the most experienced and qualified people to work with them. This is the only way they can keep their clients happy. CHECK OUT MORE INFORMATION HERE.

How to Buy Translation Services

How to Buy Translation Services | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

By not following the right procedure, you can get into a lot of trouble. If you don’t know who to get in touch with a service or how much you should pay for a particular job, you might end up spending more on it than necessary. So, if you require a service, it is better to do your research so you can know who to trust with your money. When it comes to language services, there are a lot of options available to clients. But even then, not all options are good and should not be trusted with closed eyes.

How to Buy Translation Services:

In case you need to know the right procedure of getting linguistic assistance, here is the breakdown of the process:

Find an Agency:

You will have the option to choose either a freelancer or an agency. Although some people go with freelancers, agencies are the better option. They charge less and also have plenty of experts on their team so you can find a specialist in any field. In order to find the right agency, you will have to do online research and read the reviews left by previous clients. It is also an excellent choice to compare the rates of various companies so you can decide which one to go with.

Get a Quote:

A good agency will offer you the facility to get a free quote beforehand. You don’t have to order their services if the rate isn’t right for you. Once you get a quote, it will be easier to know the final bill you have to pay. This facility can be highly useful for people who would like to know the amount they must set aside in their budget.

Assign the Task:

If you are satisfied with the quote, you can assign the task to the agency. You will have to send them your document for translation and explain all of your requirements to them in detail. You must also specify if you require certification or notarization of the translation. Once you have given the information, a specialist will start working on your document.

Review and Pay:

You will receive the finished project before the deadline. After that, you can review the file to make sure it is up to the mark. If there are any problems with the document, you can ask the agency for a revision. Once you are satisfied with the work, you will pay the bill.

A lot depends on you finding the right agency. Once you have found a trustworthy company, the rest of the process will go smoothly. Checking the reviews on websites can help you a lot in the decision-making process. It is the only right way of buying quality translation services.

Where Can I Get My Birth Certificate Translated

Where Can I Get My Birth Certificate Translated | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

While in theory just about anyone could translate a birth certificate and certify the translation, you will have a hard time of getting it notarized. A freelancer won’t want to join you in front of a notary public for that, and without the translator you won’t get the notarization.

It is therefore better if you take our services where you can have your birth certificate translated and notarized in 24 hours at the lowest price around, and the translation is guaranteed to be accepted by any state institution.

5 Reasons to Use Professional Translation Services Vs. A Bilingual Employee

5 Reasons to Use Professional Translation Services Vs. A Bilingual Employee | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

Are you regularly communicating with one foreign country in your business dealing? You have documents that you send them and you converse with them every other day. Now you are wondering is it a good idea to have the native speaker of that language in the office to communicate. And once you have hired them, maybe you can stop using the professional translation services for your documents.
We understand where you are coming from. Translation services are expensive and we all have a right to economize. We have seen this phenomenon at work many times, and there are a few aspects that are always the same in these situations. Let us explain the problem with your welljustified desire;

Translation as a profession: being bilingual is not the same as being a translator. Just because you are placing a native speaker in front of your foreign friends does not mean they will
handle your foreign dealings in the best way. There are many decisions that come up in negotiations, how will they know which way to decide? There are technical jargons that are also
significant and cannot be foreseen. If you hire a professional employee who happens to be native to the country you are dealing with; he will soon get frustrated about being dragged out of his desk to play the translator.

Document translation: Document translations are incredibly technical and cannot be conducted by just anyone. These translations have to be done by a professional translator. You can
hire a professional translator as an employee if the bulk of your translation requirements justify the need for a professional translator. Otherwise, you are better off hiring a professional translation agency that will conduct the translation for you.

Document Diversity: A professional translation services provider will have translators available for every kind of translation that you may require in the course of your business dealing. Whether you need legal translations, financial translation or Subject Matter Expert (SME) translation; they will have translators available who are well- trained. You may not be able to find an in-house translator who specializes in all kinds of translations in an economical budget.

Technicalities: There are many technical details that are to be considered while conducted professional translations. Translation agencies get the highest exposure to all of these details in the course of their experience. Most individual translators cannot handle making a perfect professional
translation all by themselves.

Discounts: Professional translation agencies offer discounts on various occasions and for
regular customers. These discount reduces the tab on translations a great deal and makes your overall translation expenditure much less. This is a significant factor in economizing your
translation needs. If you don’t believe us, keep a track of all the translation expenditure and you will see that more you utilize discount rates, more stable your budget will be.
Professional translation services are your best bet. Try mow and you will see as such yourself.

Need For Certified Translation

Need For Certified Translation | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

Certified translations are pursued by clients who need to submit the translation in a law office. This could be because you want to submit a translation to the immigration office, a governmental entity or in the court of law. This is because, in all other fields, the receiver of the translation places the burden of the credibility of content on the provider of translation. For example, a doctor will not question the credibility of the translation because he knows that the patient will never risk letting his symptoms get mistranslated.

Similarly, Certified Translations believes that an academic will never let his research paper,  dissertation or lectures get mistranslated either. The translation and the contents of the final translation are too important to the owner of the translation. But when translations are submitted to the legal offices, many times the owner will not be very bothered by the accuracy of the translation because they are submitting their translation to an institute rather than a person.

Add to this, the fact that translation accuracy is a significant factor in deciding the case of the applicant and law agencies do not want to risk the accuracy of the translation by leaving the credibility to the client. A client can make a translation that is catering to his cause; he can also manipulate significant information to show the contents that will serve his purpose.

All of these reasons play a significant role in deciding the law that has been placed by USCIS to ensure that all the translations that are submitted to their office come with a certificate provided by the translator who takes responsibility for the contents of the translation and certifies to the credibility of the information provided in the translation. This makes sure that the contents are viable and not faked in any way.

Choosing your Translator:

Because a certified translator is going to vouch for the translation that he is providing, he has to be worthy of verifying the document. The certification that he provides is only as good as the translator’s credibility. So the immigration agency that has the translation project is going to decide whether the document will be cleared by the immigration office.

Immigration offices run checking and verifications on all the translator’s certificates that come o  their office to make sure that the translator was a good option and credible enough to be taken as authentic.

Translator:

So now the question becomes how do you decide whether the translator was good for your content translation or not? Firstly, you should make sure that the translator s a member of ATA- American  Translator’s Association. This is because; no translator is ever cleared by the immigration department and any other legal entity in the United States; who is not a member of ATA. This  agency decides the credibility and authenticity of the translators by putting them through tests and other verification processes. The ATA will decide whether a translator is good for their name or not.  So make sure that the document you are submitting is certified by the ATA and is a good quality according to their office.

Qualification:

Certified Translations thinks that it is better if you hire a translator who has a bachelor or a diploma in the translation techniques between the two languages that are being paired in your package. This  way, you have a credibility that is irrefutable. Translators mostly do have some form of qualification for their abilities as translators. They are here to translate for you so that you have a translation certificate that can clear the authenticity question with flying colors.

Notarization:

Notarization is an extra precaution but we will advise you to get it as well. This is because your entire application will be rejected if your translation is not accepted. The immigration and other law offices have way too many clients to go back and verify each and every applicant. They do not try and clear translation-related issues but simply cancel the application altogether. That is why we suggest that you get your content notarized by a notary officer. Notarization makes it completely irrefutable that the translation is to be accepted by the department. If a notary officer has accepted and stamped the document then the translation has become as close to being above reproach as possible. You will rarely see a notarized application get rejected by any legal office.

Certified translations are a very important part of the immigration process. The way to get your translation is to read up on translation agencies as much as you can. Many times, law offices have recommendations for translation agencies that they rely on. it’s better to go to the agencies that are included in the list as it takes the risk and debate out of question. But in either case, the certificate that comes with your translation is incredibly significant. Simply having a certificate is not good enough. You need a certificate that is good for an immigration office and will clear your translation.

As we, Certified Translations, stated earlier, it is common for the translation to take the entire application to the rejection pile. Legal offices do not bother following and getting better translations from the applicant; they simply reject the application completely.

So you need a translation certificate that will take a translator’s word and credibility and clear your application through the system. For that, the translation needs to have a good and credible translator behind it. Best of luck!

It isn’t just about the facilities, and freedom countries offer to their citizens, it is a lot more than that. Many people have their favorite destinations in their minds that they wouldn’t think twice before moving to. However, there are many complications that keep them from acting on that idea. More than anything, there are document issues that can make anyone frustrated enough to give up on their dreams. However, with the right assistance, anyone can achieve their goals.

Important Documents:
Every time people have to make an important decision or change something big in their life, they will need documents for help. People also have to register things with the state and then get documents issued to them.

Parents get the birth of their child registered with the state to obtain the first document for the baby. The birth certificates are so important that children cannot get admission in schools without them. But the document does not stop being important even when people become adults. They will need it to prove their identity until they get their driver’s license or any other identification document.

When Is Document Translation Needed?

Important documents are also needed when people travel to other countries. From applying for immigration to getting a job in a foreign country, there are many moments when people have to submit proof of their identity, qualification, and experience. But since all the documents of a person are issued in their homeland, they come with language limitations. This is why
people need document translation, without which they cannot prove their identity or their qualification to foreign authorities.

Who Can Provide Accurate Translations?

Whenever people need the translation of their official documents, they can only turn to a particular group of experts. They cannot upload their birth certificate on Google Translate and expect to get accurate results. This is why it is important to know who can provide accurate translations and who cannot. Only qualified experts and well-known agencies can
provide good results. All the other options are not worth wasting your time on. There are also freelancers in the industry, but it is important to know that not all of them will be able to provide you with accurate linguistic services. Some of them are not experienced, while others may not be familiar with the type of service you require.

Document Translation Services:

There are various companies that provide document translation services, but it is important to choose the right one. You can check Google reviews to learn about the type of service agencies are offering to their clients. You can also ask people for suggestions
to find the right agency. Once you have found a couple of good options, you can compare their rates to find out which is the most suitable option for you. You can get the service by uploading
your document to the website of the agency or contacting them through the live chat feature to learn more about the way they work. You will be able to get the project delivered to you within a day. If you choose a good agency, all of your information will remain secure. You can upload your document to such an agency’s website without any hesitation. They will be able to provide you with quality services in record time. You can also request urgent solutions if you have a deadline to catch. A good company will not charge you extra for urgent service. When you make the right decision, your linguistic problem will be solved in the best way possible.

The Latin Language and Rome

The Latin Language and Rome | Universal Translation Company | Scoop.it

Whenever students are having difficulty memorizing something, their teachers tell them to form associations. Most associations are personal to people and won’t make sense to others. But there are a few which are universal. They are the kind of associations that everybody knows, so when someone says orange, you will think of both the fruit and the color. Although Spanish is spoken in more than twenty countries, when someone mentions the language, you will think of Spain. This is because it originated in Spain. And that’s why there is a close connection between Latin and Rome.

The Latin Language and Rome:

Only a few things from our history affected languages and cultures as much as the Roman civilization did. Romans spoke the ancient tongue of Latin and brought it to different parts of Europe, where it flourished and later got divided into various vernaculars. The history of this powerful language can be traced back to the ancient city of Rome. When the city was founded, no one thought it would be the start of a new era. What was started in Rome ended up becoming an empire which went on to affect the human civilization like nothing else.

Latin continued to be an essential part of Roman culture. It was the official language of the Empire. The elite and the courts spoke the classical version of the tongue. The version which was common among the general public became known as the Vulgar Latin.

It was this version which later got divided into different vernaculars. It was the Empire of the Romans which took the tongue to different parts of the world. If they hadn’t imposed their tongue in the regions they conquered, it had died way sooner. But it was the effort of the rulers that resulted in Latin getting love and respect from all corners. Even today, a significant number of people can speak and understand the tongue and refuse to accept its status as a dead language. It also enjoys a high rank in the church. Since it has always been an accepted mean of communication among the church members, a lot of ancient religious text written in Latin has been found.

As we progress through time, more cultures and vernaculars will affect our lifestyle. We will continue to be influenced by the things around us. Maybe in a hundred years, the languages we speak today would have become extinct. But one thing is for sure, the influence of the Latin language and Rome on our culture will never be forgotten. We will continue to see the impact of the ancient tongue on our future vernaculars. Through direct and indirect links, the Romans will continue to affect our lifestyle.
