"The vote for Brexit was driven by an overwhelming feeling among poorer voters that they had no control over immigration alongside a more general disillusionment with politicians, according to new research. Some 76 per cent of those on lower incomes felt they could “make no difference” to immigration, according to the study carried out for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation."
