Really interesting read — the shift from "retirement" to "rewirement" captures something real about how people over 65 are redefining what work means to them. Staying engaged and purposeful clearly has huge benefits beyond just the financial side of things.

A 2014 Labour Force Survey found that 35% of support workers received some form of training in the previous 13 weeks compared to 55% in the non-support workforce, with levels of 26% for customer service and 34% for administrative staff reporting job related training over the same period.
