Necessity of Establishing Specialized Translation Institute

Tehran International Book Fair's House of Literati held a session on Friday, May 11, entitled "Translation's role in Islamic countries' scientific progress". The session emphasized on the necessity of translation in conveying data as well as establishing a related field institute in Iran.

"Translation's role in Islamic countries' scientific progress" was attended by SAMT organization's deputy Seyyed Taha Merghati, managing director of Majd publications Seyyed Abbas Husseini nik and researcher Abulfazl Ahmad zadeh.

Firstly Ahmad zadeh talked about the significant impacts of translation in the world of Islam saying translation was essential during the past times as well as the modern days however its standards should be observed as well.

Talking about the matter, Merghati said:" Translation usually develops in countries in which communication is needed. If a nation holds distinguished thoughts, other countries will naturally use translation for gaining its data.
