I love the fact that this was inspired by Doug Johnson at the Blue Skunk Blog - I love his perspective on school libraries, teacher librarianship and our roles in an increasingly blended information universe

I think if departments reviewed their faculty, it would become clear to them which teachers should *not* be forced into using technology in the classroom. Questionably, if those teachers cannot teach the assigned material any longer, they may be driven to learn it in order to keep their jobs, but honestly, if teachers don't possess these traits in today's world, the only thing they should probably be driven to is a different job.... |

I really like his "SOLE" concept. My students do as well. I use his "Whole in the Wall" concept to challenge my students to not wait for teachers when they want to learn something new.
