La mort des centres commerciaux américains
le temps des centres commerciaux semble aujourd’hui révolu. Ils ferment un peu partout dans le pays victimes notamment de leur incapacité à s’aligner en terme de prix et de choix sur le commerce électronique. On trouve même des sites (deadmalls.com, and collectionsof empty mall photos) qui répertorient et publient des photographies de centres commerciaux à l’abandon. Une autre raison pour laquelle les centres commerciaux disparaissent et leur abandon progressif par les adolescents américains.
Le centre commercial US est en danger ... qu'en sera t il en Europe ? Le nombre d'ouverture de centres commerciaux en France semble vouloir prendre le contre pied de la tendance déclinante US . Mais cela correspond il à un vrai besoin de consommation, ou plutôt à des opérations immobilières éloignées d'une réalité économique ?
Les centres commerciaux nouvelle générations sont ils la bonne réponse ? Alors So Ouest ou Beaugrenelle, ou plutôt Qwartz ? Toutes les tentatives d'innovation sont les bienvenues, même si à mon goût les tentatives digitales semblent encore trop modestes ( et noyées dans la masse comme à Qwartz) et non suffisantes pour révolutionner une consommation ou une expérience d'achat qui se doit d'être réinventée .
