"Samsung’s S4 has defined the boundaries of a perfect smartphone. It even embraces the tagline “a lifetime companion” fully. The S4 mini was created closely resembling the S4. Looking at the outside appearance (despite the difference in screen and size), the S4 mini has all the major components the S4 possesses. According to J.K. Shin, President and CEO of Samsung’s mobile division, they want to give more choices to the people with the Galaxy S4 mini. He also added that the S4 mini is created to deliver the same experience as the S4, only with a more compact experience."

"The Samsung Galaxy S4 and LG Optimus G Pro are both great devices. Despite its size, the Optimus G Pro, in many respects, is on par with the Galaxy S4. We’re pitting the two devices from South Korea against each other, and only one can come out on top."

"The Huawei Ascend P6, a handset that was first mentioned when it was seen in a filing with the Chinese version of FCC, doesn’t impress only in terms of thickness (it’s 6.2 mm thin), as it also has some interesting rumored specs to it. The handset will apparently pack a quad-core CPU running at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM and a 4.7-inch 720p touchscreen."

"In Monaco earlier today, ZTE officially unveiled its ZTE Grand X2 In Intel-powered flagship smartphone, once again eschewing its stigma of peddling lower-end handsets by offering an all-around high end smartphone slated for release in Europe this autumn for an unspecified amount. There’s no word yet whether this handset will make its way to the US."

"When you’re facing adversity, what do you do? Do you act out of fear and desperation? Throw everything against the wall and hope something sticks? Or do you use it as an opportunity to refocus, and soar to new heights? HTC chose the latter. The result is the One, probably the boldest Android phone ever made."

"Nokia’s Lumia range is, depending on those you ask, either getting crowded or becoming more flexible, with the new Lumia 720 slotting in-between the 620 and the older 820. With its 4.3-inch screen adding up to a pocket-friendly size, the Lumia 720 makes a strong argument for the Windows Phone midrange. Still, we’ve already praised the Lumia 620 for punching above its station, so does the 720 really carve out enough of a difference to make it worth consideration?"

"There are two HTC smartphones headed to the market in the next few weeks, the First of which is called the HTC First – fully equipped with Facebook Home for you social networking fanatics. The other is one that’s not been fully recognized is an iteration of the HTC experience with nearly the same specifications of the HTC First, this time called the HTC M4 – aka the HTC e1. The thing is, though, that the HTC e1 is already on the market in China, while the HTC M4 (code name similar to the HTC One‘s “M7″) might never reach the public."

If you were pumped up about the Samsung GALAXY S 4 revealed earlier this month but found its massive display to be just a bit too much to swallow, you'll be glad to hear the tip about a “mini” coming on quick. This smaller iteration of the GALAXY S 4 would take on the design aesthetic of the larger, working with many of the same features but with specifications that point to a slightly lower price on the market.

"Though the original black version of the Google Nexus 4 has been available from T-Mobile for a number of weeks, the white version will be hitting the carrier soon. This color will join the black version, not replace it, at T-Mobile locations nationwide. UPDATE: Per T-Mobile: The White Nexus 4 will be available online only, and will also be available only for a limited time – keep that in mind!"

"A new variation on Samsung’s Galaxy S 4 has leaked, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 Active, with the quadcore 1.9GHz smartphone cropping up in Croatia ahead of an official release. The slightly aesthetically-redesigned phone, which apparently has physical menu and back buttons as well as what looks to be a more rugged rear casing, has turned up at GSMArena, having been previewed on a Samsung WhatON app update first, complete with some other new twists on the Samsung flagship."
