Looks as though a piece of Michael Giacchino's score for the upcoming JUPITER ASCENDING has made its inevitable-way to Youtube. It's a short 2:25, but a wonderful 2:25. If one fears this being a fake-out, at least one Giacchino-trope can be detected ... a 3-note (rising and falling) fragment that made a strong appearance in his last, big, sci-fi, score JOHN CARTER. Of course, with the soundtrack release only a few weeks away, it's a good bet this is the real deal ... and so let us give thanks ... and pre-order.
