Atlanta Symphony presents Halloween on Hogwarts | Soundtrack | Scoop.it

Atlanta may be two hours away, but some trips are worth the drive. Two events are coming up for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra that are bringing a bit of Hollywood to the South. The first is Halloween on Hogwarts, on Sunday, Oct. 21, a concert of supernatural fun for the kids that combines the music of John Williams from the "Harry Potter" movies with classical pieces. The second is An Evening with John Williams & Steven Spielberg on Wednesday, Oct. 24, celebrating the composer's 80th birthday. Jere Flint has a part in both, as the conductor for the Family Concert series and cellist in the Symphony.
