Si observamos el mercado mexicano veremos que la industria de agencias de publicidad en promedio tiene 8.52 años de antigüedad por cuenta. En Relaciones Públicas es de 8.35 años. Pero si analizamos los máximos, hay información de valor. El Palacio de Hierro es sin duda una de las marcas más reconocidas en México es justo decir que su solidez en el mercado está ligada en gran medida a la estabilidad en su relación de 68 años con su agencia de publicidad, Teran/TBWA. Lo mismo sucede con las cuentas de mayor antigüedad de Ogilvy & Mather, JWT y McCann. Por ejemplo, JWT suma 71 años con la cuenta Ford. Los directivos dentro de las corporaciones deberían analizar con mayor detenimiento sus ambiciones para los próximos 25 años, en la medida en que se busque permanencia en el mercado será más importante establecer relaciones de largo plazo con proveedores creativos.
