These days, it’s no secret that high-quality images are important for any marketing strategy, particularly when it comes to social media. Images not only help brands stand out in busy social news feeds, but they also boost engagement and build brand awareness—and their importance is growing.
According to a WebDAM infographic, 84% of all communication will be visual by 2018. So, there’s no better time than the present to ensure you’re creating and sharing top-notch imagery. And that starts with following sizing best practices for each channel.
To help you do just that, below is a quick cheat sheet for sizing your images for optimal impact, complete with dimensions and some examples. In addition, you’ll also find some helpful tools that can help your resize, edit or create images....
To become world-class (the top 5%) takes only about a month of focused, intentional work. Breaking through those extra four percentile points to become a true master copywriter (the top 1%) will take you years, if not decades, of practice and dedication. However, unless your entire career is dedicated to copywriting, all that effort is unnecessary. If you can break out of the realm of good copywriting and become great, the extra four percentage points are simply not needed to run a successful business. Becoming world-class is completely achievable and can be done faster than you think. With that definition out of the way, let’s begin....
When you create landing pages, sometimes you’re forced to make some tough calls — deciding on the type of headline, all the way down to the colors on the page, and CTA button copy. Every single decision has a significant impact on your conversion rate. Of course, this puts added pressure on you to get all the elements perfect before you publish the page.
The data you collect with A/B testing puts a lot of the CRO questions to bed, but the thing with testing is that it’s not an immediate solution. You can’t rely on A/B testing data as soon as you publish your page.
This is where CRO best practices come into play. We’re going to make a case for both types of pages and argue why one should take precedence over the other. Then, we’ll give you a list of factors that will help you decide the length of your pages once and for all.
Let the debate begin....

Even though Snapchat is said to have over 150 million daily users, many are still at a loss for where the app fits into their marketing plan. Think for a moment about some of your most embarrassing moments. Perhaps you fell off of a chair in the middle of a painfully hip, packed restaurant (me). Maybe you fell asleep in the middle of a meeting and got called out by your coworkers (me). In 1992, Bruce Springsteen recorded a song about media overload and its discontents. He called it “57 Channels (And Nothin’ On).” How quaint. In 2016, Brian X. Chen writes, it’s possible to save money by ditching traditional cable providers, and instead subscribing to nonstandard broadcast services offering 55, 70, or 100 channels. But you probably won’t like it. It’s not that there ain’t nothin’ on, either. The reasons these other services can’t match traditional expensive cable packages tell us much about a seldom-examined question: Why, in this day and age, do we still watch so much TV?

Imagine this nightmare scenario: you’re on the verge of launching your newly redesigned website, and you’re already anticipating new leads and returning customers. You’ve spent countless hours working through every last detail before even considering unveiling your new creation to the world. The big day arrives, and you give the green light to launch.
Suddenly, you realize you forgot to plan for one crucial element: the SEO best practices that you had so carefully incorporated into your old website.
Unfortunately, this is not just a nightmare that can be forgotten once you’ve had your morning coffee, but something I’ve seen happen to countless small businesses over my 10 years as the owner of an SEO and online marketing agency.
Your redesigned website was meant to give your business a new lease on life, but instead, you’ve destroyed your organic search rankings and traffic overnight. When you change your site without thoroughly thinking through the SEO implications, you might do something harmful like throw away substantive content or change every page’s URL without making sure to redirect the old ones....

You may have heard that a LinkedIn Company Page is not the most effective way to generate leads or business on LinkedIn.
I myself have wrote about this very fact comparing the effectiveness of a LinkedIn personal profile vs a Company Page. Even though you may not generate a lot of business when you create a Company Page on LinkedIn, it doesn’t mean that your business shouldn’t have one.
While LinkedIn Company Pages will never replace your LinkedIn personal profile in importance and ability to produce results, there are a number of reasons/benefits as to why you should have one for your company
For many, social media is simply a place to post links to content they've created in hopes that thousands will see it, click through, and share with their followers. So they have profiles on every network, and every network looks exactly the same; line after line of self-promotion. This is not going to bring results. Social marketing is a lot of work, and it takes time listening and responding. It's social, and anything social takes an investment of effort and skill. Check out these 41 resources that will help you develop the skills needed to be effective on social media. You may want to bookmark this post so you can easily refer to it again later....
