Adobe hat vier gravierende Lücken in Reader und Acrobat geschlossen

Die Lücken stuft Adobe selbst als “kritisch” ein. Betroffen sind die Versionen 10.1.2 für Windows und Mac OS X sowie Reader 9.4.6 für Linux. Es stehen auch Updates für Reader für iOS und Android zur Verfügung.

Adobe has issued a security update for its Flash Player software that fixes at least two critical vulnerabilities in the widely-used program.

At long last, this latest version also includes an auto-updating mechanism designed to streamline the deployment of Flash security fixes across multiple browsers.

Adobe ships patches for flaws that could cause the application to crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.
