We are halfway - that was game 20 of 40 for the pool phase, and it was another great example of the favoured team not having it all its own way. The Russians got killed on territory and penalties when you look at the numbers, they really did spend a bit of time in their own half and 22, but when they did have the ball and go wide, they looked great. And they can handle the ball well too.

Australia's Rugby World Cup campaign is over after New Zealand piled more Eden Park misery on the Wallabies in Sunday night's blockbuster semi-final in Auckland. The All Blacks outclassed the Wallabies 20-6 in front of 60,087 mostly delirious fans to book a final showdown next Sunday night with France, who edged out Wales 9-8 in Saturday's first semi-final.

24 years and the monkey is off the back, they did not choke and all the other clichés could be brought out. But the 2011 version of the All Blacks withstood everything France and injury could through at them and came out as Champions in Eden Park.
