Leo Guardado's insight:
Modern warfare seems to be evolving with drones as fast, if not faster than civilian use. The power and advantage that AI and UAVs will bring to the millitary use will be astonishing, saving the lives of many service men and women that in other circumstance would parish in active combat. The trade off however is that this same technology that is being perfected to protect and save lives, can be turned around to harm us as well. This begs the question on morality in which, do we allow AI to protect us? Should we continue on to the path of weaponizing UAVs with various agents not limited to protictiles? The possibility of territorists groups arming a device with biological agents is not farfetch anymore, and the technology on miniturizing a nuclear weapon is advancing in other governments too . These are very concerning questions in my opinion, if we continue to develop this type of warfare technology.
