When asked what organism best describes her she said Tailless Whipscorpion. They are cuddly, monstrous looking, gentle giants. What that says about me? I'm not too sure... I do have kids. I guess I'm more of a tailless whipscorpion mom than a tiger mom.

We should think of ants as our relatives–they are everywhere around us. Ants turn soil daily around the globe. Ants disperse seeds and pollinate plants. They provide pest control, waste disposal, and undertaking services. Those are ecosystem services, a name for all the stuff we get for free by just living on a functioning earth.
