Learn Spanish with Pictures helps children learn Spanish by talking about pictures in a structured way. The description of this photograph of cats lets children hear and understand the Spanish words because they can see the picture. Following the photos, as in all the Learn Spanish with Pictures activities, there are questions that are ordered to help children master the vocabulary and gain confidence with the language.

Song and video teach the Spanish numbers 1-10. The video shows the numbers as kids hear and sing them, so they are associating the words with the written numbers. Singing is also great Spanish pronunciation practice.

Hands on Spanish has 20 songs and comes with the Spanish lyrics and an English translation of all the tracks. The lyrics and the translations are printed in alternating colors so that they are easy to read. The lively songs teach basic vocabulary and concepts like animals, numbers, colors, the alphabet, professions and days of the week. All of the songs are short, so that even little children do not get bored and can memorize them easily. The singers are native Spanish speakers with beautiful voices. Also, I really appreciate that the vocals are always easy to hear, with instruments contributing to the music but never interfering with the clarity of the words.

These worksheets, or láminas in Spanish, are provided by the World Association of Early Childhood Educators (Asociación Mundial de Educadores Infantiles). They are simple, short and the instructions are in Spanish. All of the worksheets are picture-based, so in addition to practicing concepts like adentro-afuera and largo-corto, children can learn and practice common Spanish vocabulary.
