Matt Marshall's The Underground Fat Loss Manual - PDF eBook download! During my fast i consume water and black coffee, nothing else. If you eat anything it will break your fast. Some say that black coffee breaks your fast as your liver must process it but it will not stop you reaping many of the health benefits if you do consume a coffee. This is a choice, if you can live without coffee then great. I however, need coffee intravenously pumped into my blood stream. Plus coffee is a stimulant and is proven to promote fat loss.

 

During my feeding window i will have 2 meals and a snack. My first meal is usually around 1000 calories and my second will depend on my goals. E.g if i am trying to lose fat it will be less calories than if i am trying to add muscle. I eat good quality foods during this window and steer clear of junk and sugar.

 

I have two days a week off. This is ideal as i enjoy the freedom on the weekends and it’s been proven that you will still see all the benefits even with two days off a week. I use these days to allow myself the occasional treats. If there is something i really crave e.g a cookie, i will have it. There is no point in following a way of eating if it is not sustainable.
