ImageQuiz is a fantastic new website that lets users create image-based quizzes with ease. Just upload your image, choose a title, and begin tagging the locations of the labels. Tagging works by drawing on the image to define what the quiz should test people on, and then labeling each of those tags. It is very easy to use and has a basic, simple interface and best of all – no signup required! This means you can get students to create their own quizzes without worrying about them having to create accounts and then forgetting the passwords…

This morning I received an email from a reader who was looking for tools that her students can use to create booklets that they design online then print. The caveat of the request was that the tools had to have an option for students to draw as well as type and insert pictures. A few tools fit that description. Those tools are Buncee and MyStoryBook.

Verkko on täynnä kaikenlaisia hienoja linkkejä. Tämä yksinkertainen ristikonrakentamistyökalu,Crossword Labs, sattui silmiin, muitakin on, mutta tämä on harvinaisen selkeä. Ristikkoja pääsee luomaan kirjautumatta; kirjautuminen tuo joitakin lisäominaisuuksia, mutta ei ole välttämätöntä kokeiluvaiheessa eikä ehkä myöhemminkään. Sen verran kokeilin, että näin ääkkösten toimivan, mikä on tärkeintä. Voi kirjoittaa suomalaisia/skandinaavisia kirjaimia aivan vapaasti.

Tässä on työkalu, jolla voit helposti kirjoittaa lauseen ja tulostaa sen isolla A4-kokoiselle paperille. Voit valita tekstin värin, tekstin koon, kirjaintyypin ja kehyksen. Lauseissa valitse alasvetovalikosta ensin: Sentence Cards: 1 card/page. Lauseet voi myös tallentaa pdf-muotoon ja niitä voi katsoa Adobe Readerilla. Laput voi kääntää vaakasuoraan. Ei tarvitse tulostaa ja näkee silti ne värillisinä.
