Bomba Tacos & Rum, an Ohio-based Latin-style restaurant and bar, will be opening its first Pennsylvania location at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center.
The restaurant will be located in the new building currently along Durham Road that is currently under construction. The establishment has received liquor license transfer approval from the township (read “Summary of May 8, 2019, Newtown BOS Public Meeting”).

The Newtown location is expected to open in winter 2020, the company said on its website.
The menu features a variety of Latin-inspired dishes, including, of course, tacos. The menu also features bowls, sandwiches, soups, and appetizers. The drink menu includes a range of rum cocktails, as well as margaritas, sangria, wine, and beer.
The Newtown location will have 170 seats and be between 3,500 and 4,000 square feet, the Newtown Advance reported.
