The diesel submarine of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) of "ALROSA" which is ordered by the captain 2 ranks Stanislav Rzhitsky, passes planned repair with partial modernization on the basis of the 13th BSF ship-repair plant in Sevastopol.
During repair work the equipment of the submarine will be improved that will allow to improve its technical characteristics.
During factory repair the crew of "ALROSA" having wide practical experience became a basis for formation of crews of the latest diesel submarines "Novorossiysk", "Rostov-on-Don" and "Krasnodar" constructed for the BSF.
Seamen of "ALROSA" for maintenance of appropriate level of preparation carry out trainings on fight for survivability, mate and tactical preparation both by the ship, and on exercise machines of the BSF training center in Sevastopol.

The submarine "ALROSA" was put on May 17, 1988 at Red Sormovo plant in Nizhny Novgorod. In September, 1989 it is floated, and in November of the same year on internal waterways it is transferred to the Black Sea. On December 1, 1990 on it the Naval colors were hoisted, in January, 2004 the name of "ALROSA" is appropriated to the submarine.
