The #1 names in 2018 were Olivia and Oliver once again! For Olivia, this is the third year at the top while Oliver remains #1 for the 6th year running. New to the top 100 since 2017 are Grayson, Jasper, Rowan, Tobias, Sonny and Dominic, Ada, Delilah, Ayla, Zoe

The top British baby names for 2018 have just been released by the Office of National Statistics, showing Oliver and Olivia at Number 1.

These are the most exciting statistics of the year, and I've shamefully neglected them because I was trying to write my dissertation and I knew I'd be lost if I started delving into the data. I'm looking forward to making up for lost time now!
