I've refined my method a bit more than last time, taking alternate spellings into account (well, trying to, anyway). I looked at the percentage of kids given each name rather than ranking or number of babies, since a) more boys tend to be given the top names each year, and b) more boys are born each year than girls for some reason. Anyway, enjoy!

New names for girls in 2013 included Sutton, Margot, and Mabel, Rivka, Wren, Liv, and Gwen, all returning to the US Top 1000 - or making their debut!

I am currently in love with the name Thea. The debate between Thea on its own or using it as a nickname for Theodora is ongoing.
