Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac eliminating pension plans starting Dec. 31 | Backstabber Watch | Scoop.it
The FHFA urged the lenders to pull the programs to manage costs, long-term risks.
Anonymous Hades's insight:

The real reason their eliminating pension plans:  These idiots were over-exposed in the housing market.  They screwed up, then abandoned their employees.

"Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac went into federal conservatorship in 2008 under the FHFA after sustaining big losses in the housing market. Those losses resulted in a $188 billion bailout by the Treasury." - Kimbriell Kelly

Here Are The 144 Republicans Who Voted To Send The US Into Default | Backstabber Watch | Scoop.it
The House of Representatives passed the bill that reopened the government and suspended the debt ceiling -- but 144 members voted against it.

Anonymous Hades's insight:

The loophole in the STOCK Act, the pre-funding requirement for USPS, the disgraceful Student Loan Sellout, the defeat of the Veteran’s Jobs bill, their disgraceful abandonment of Republican governors before & during the GOP/TeaParty/US shutdown, and the campaign to weaken our military, our judiciary, and law enforcement agencies through sequestration all belong to the legacy of the GOP leadership in Congress.

Throughout the shutdown, the arrogance of the House GOP leadership was not lost on angry voters as House members eagerly portrayed themselves as irresponsible and intractable individuals of incorrigible disbelief; and hence worthless to hard-working, law-abiding voters & their families.

This element wormed it’s way into power by making promises it collectively has no intentions of fulfilling, in the way of job creation. They are clearly set on making our great nation a defenseless host for corporate parasites.

In this election year, turn your focus toward the dirty, rotten tricks of the GOP leadership.  Uncover the monstrous lies; the poisonous, hideous deceptions and the intellectual dishonesty.

Check out Operation DejaVu ( #OpDejaVu via www.theswarm.us). It contains plenty of information about what politicians, pundits and lobbyists really think of working class voters and their families.

Freely castigate the backstabbers of corporate personhood who subsidize the worthless millionaires in Congress who are paid to spread misery, discord & pain to voters, our friends & families here and abroad.

Voters from all walks of life continually endure the hardships of sequestration.  It's time to return the favor.  Stay tuned.
