Los actos y las cosas cuando son simples tienen una valor tremendo si están hechas con pasión, compromiso y seguridad, no hace falta complicarlas para que valgan, porque lo único que hace esto, es crear confusión, frustración, inseguridad y pérdida de energía.

Craig looked intently at his staff. Every Monday morning staff meeting was intense. Craig expected results and he held everyone accountable. Not necessarily himself. No one talked, they just listened. Craig was on a rant. This was typical, he had a pretty big ego and drew a line in the sand quite often. This line, however, could be detrimental. One of their largest customers had a problem. Kim had addressed the issue with Craig for two weeks. He wouldn’t budge. They were wrong, he was right. They would not compromise. Kim knew the answer, she couldn’t argue (discuss) any longer. She would communicate the decision to the customer. The staff left the meeting not uplifted and excited for the week ahead, but discouraged and stressed.....

Have you ever noticed how a pat on the back makes you feel great for days? Have you ever noticed how a pat on the back makes you feel great for days? If the praise comes in handwritten or email form, maybe you frame the note and put it on your wall so it can lift you up on a tough day or help you feel more engaged at work. (Years of studies by Gallup and other research groups have shown that engaged employees are much more productive.)Sadly, kudos from bosses are all too rare. Believe me, I know. Back in 1976, I was a 25-year old MBA when I took my first job as a marketing assistant at General Mills in Minneapolis. I had never held a job beyond teaching tennis and managing a tennis camp, and my starting salary was a whopping $10,500 a year. My co-workers tried to help me along, but the culture demanded crisp critical thinking skills that I had yet to fully develop. It seemed as if there was something wrong with everything I did. At my six-month performance review my boss said, "Doug, I like your determination, but to be honest, your performance has been very mediocre." And his boss's comment? "Doug should look for another job.".... |

Brandon Jacobs’ recent outbursts on social media have played out like a painful rerun of episodes starring NFL divas in their own tragic sitcoms. It’s completely possible Jacobs has a legitimate gripe, but it’s obvious he chose to handle it the worst way. Ask yourself what would happen if you announced to everyone at work the equivalent of what Jacobs announced on social media. Now you know why the New York Giants decided to let him walk away in the offseason despite his role in two Super Bowls and a team record 50 rushing touchdowns.
San Francisco tight end Vernon Davis had plenty of public outbursts under the previous 49ers’ regime led by Mike Singletary, who didn’t hesitate to discipline him for it. Since then he’s been a model teammate and significant contributor with Alex Smith at quarterback. And now with Colin Kaepernick under center Davis has largely vanished over San Francisco’s last three games, totaling three catches for 19 yards and zero touchdowns. I doubt Davis runs a 4.3 second 40-yard dash so he can run block all day, but he’s kept quiet about it. It’s a little something called professionalism. Ask Vernon about it, Brandon, he learned the hard way. Read more : http://thesco.re/STLpn7
Ricard Lloria's insight:
It’s also a simple math problem. One person isn’t more important than the other 52 in uniform. Brandon + Goodbye = Problem solved. No respect, no money, no team. Jacobs knew exactly what he was doing, and now he just needs someone else to blame.

Read through job interviewing tips or practice answering common interview questions. MindTools DX (free) – this an app full of quizzes and articles to help you assess and develop your professional skills. Use this app to enhance your leadership, time management, communication, decision making, and project management skills. CamCard ($ 2.99) – this app allows you to scan and organize business cards.
