On Monday 19 May 2025, Luxembourg's Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture confirmed that Luxembourg crémants won a total of eleven gold medals at the 34th edition of the Concours National des Crémants de la France et du Luxembourg.

La famille MeluXina s’agrandit et le Luxembourg confirme sa position et ses ambitions dans le domaine des nouvelles technologies, de l’intelligence artificielle (IA) en particulier.

En effet, alors que le Grand-Duché dispose déjà sur son territoire du supercalculateur MeluXina, et que le projet d’ordinateur quantique MeluXina-Q a été dévoilé en octobre, un consortium national a été sélectionné pour acquérir et accueillir un nouveau supercalculateur optimisé pour l’intelligence artificielle (IA), baptisé MeluXina-AI, et établir une AI Factory (usine d’IA) associée.

In 2023, Luxembourg’s National Education Training Institute started incorporating AI topics into teacher training courses, aiming to equip teachers with knowledge and skills needed to use and teach AI technologies effectively. This initiative has since consistently expanded.

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) is inevitable and spans all social domains. It will gradually reshape how teaching is conducted and how learners acquire knowledge. Education plays a crucial role in ensuring that these tools are used effectively and responsibly. It is therefore essential to demystify its complexities and familiarise teachers with the fundamental concepts of AI and associated technologies.

Das Außenministerium hat am Freitag die aktuellen Zahlen der Asylbewerber in Luxemburg veröffentlicht. Die Anzahl der Anträge ist im Vergleich zum selben Zeitraum 2023 zurückgegangen.

Die Anzahl der Anträge auf Asyl im Großherzogtum zwischen Januar und Juli 2024 ist gemessen am gleichen Zeitraum des Vorjahres zurückgegangen. Das geht aus einer Pressemitteilung des Innenministeriums und der Direktion für Einwanderung vom Freitag hervor. In dem Schreiben geht es unter anderem um die Zahlen vom Juni und Juli 2024, aber auch um die Gesamtzahl der Schutzsuchenden in den vergangenen Jahren.
