Talkwalker, one of Luxembourg's most high-profile start-up success stories, has opened an office in Singapore.
The company said the expansion into Asia would give it more direct contact with clients.
"Singapore is a fantastic gateway for us," said Ben Soubies, head of sales, Asia Pacific, who will be leading the Singapore team.
"We've been growing our client base across Asia for several years now. The opening of this new office means we'll be able to meet more clients and prospects face-to-face and invest in more local events.”
The move comes after US private equity firm Marlin Equity Partners bought a majority stake in the software company in January.
Talkwalker, a 'social listening' and analytics platform, said at the time the deal would help it grow its international footprint beyond its four existing offices in Luxembourg, New York, San Francisco and Frankurt.
The firm said the Asia Pacific region comprised over 56% of the world's active media users.
