Introducing iWork for iCloud

Introducing iWork for iCloud | iSchoolLeader Magazine | Scoop.it
Steven Engravalle's insight:

Received the following email from Apple today:

We’ll soon be introducing a new and exciting feature to iCloud. It’s called iWork for iCloud and it’s a suite of apps — Pages, Numbers, and Keynote — that make it easy for anyone with an iCloud account to create and edit great-looking documents, spreadsheets, and presentations right on the web.

We’d like to invite you to be one of the first to try it, so we’re giving you early access to the iWork for iCloud beta. All you have to do is sign in to iCloud on a Mac or a PC using the current version of Safari, Chrome, or Internet Explorer. Then just click on Pages, Numbers, or Keynote and you’re off.

We’re really proud of these apps, and we’d appreciate your help in making them as great as they can possibly be. So we’d love to hear your feedback as you use them.

Thank you Apple and iWork Team for including me in your beta. I look forward to  trying out these awesome additions to iCloud.

Google Now on your #iPhone and #iPad, with the @Google Search #app

Google Now on your #iPhone and #iPad, with the @Google Search #app | iSchoolLeader Magazine | Scoop.it
Steven Engravalle's insight:

Google Now is about giving you just the right information at just the right time. It can show you the day’s weather as you get dressed in the morning, or alert you that there’s heavy traffic between you and your butterfly-inducing date—so you’d better leave now! It can also share news updates on a story you’ve been following, remind you to leave for the airport so you can make your flight and much more. There’s no digging required: cards appear at the moment you need them most—and the more you use Google Now, the more you get out of it.

Google Now for iPhone and iPad is available as part of the updated Google Search app. Together, Google Now and voice search will make your day run a little smoother.
