Two Irish authors have made the 16-strong longlist for the world’s richest short story award.
MJ Hyland, whose novels are Carry Me Down, How The Light Gets In and This Is How, has been longlisted for her story, Somebody Else’s Bed. David Park, whose work includes Swallowing the Sun, The Big Snow, The Truth Commissioner and The Light of Amsterdam, is longlisted for Learning To Swim.
