The UNDP Innovation Facility’s second annual Review focuses on 62 initiatives across 45 countries sponsored by the Facility in 2015 with seed-funding and technical assistance.

It is supported by Federal republic of Germany in order to implement the recommendations of the Nansen Initiative Protection Agenda. In 2011, Oxfam published a study into the gap between Unilever’s high-level policies on labour rights and the reality on the ground for workers in Vietnam. Oxfam has reviewed the progress made since 2011 and found that the company’s overall commitment to respecting human and labour rights has been strengthened as a result of effective leadership across the business.

NEW YORK, 28 June 2016 – Based on current trends, 69 million children under five will die from mostly preventable causes, 167 million children will live in poverty, and 750 million women will have been married as children by 2030, the target date for the Sustainable Development Goals – unless the world focuses more on the plight of its most disadvantaged children, according to a UNICEF report released today.
