The civil war in Syria has created the world’s worst refugee crisis in twenty years. 2.8 million people have poured out of their homeland and into camps in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, even Iraq. The UNHCR’s camp in northern Jordan has become a key destination for Syrians seeking sanctuary. And what an extraordinary place it has become.

Incredible story...After two years 100,000 people now call it home and just like any other city in the world it’s developed a distinctive heart and soul as inhabitants do their best to pick up where they left off, continue to build their lives and, by dint of human resilience, an amazing sense of community has emerged.
