Daron Jones (of the group 112) has a new single and #frfr, it’s hot.  This song is just plain old great RNB (Jones has a modern Luther feel on this).  Now what we felt here at the BeatMaKanixxx (remember, we feel every song is #JustABreakAway from a hit) is this cut has great energy.  So we took this new break #AhhShtGD and blended the 2.  Look Jones' adlibs are crazy (in this time of folks pretending to sing…), this dude can really sing (once again #frfr).  The adlibs just ride perfectly over this beat.  The “AhhSht…” break help give this cut its new school club bounce...  Here’s the stats:

• TRACK- 3.6 pts This track is a classic RNB groove (80bpms) but the adlibs are like one long dance break.  This is hot…
• PERFOMANCE- 4.6 pts Jones performance is hot (the adlibs are crazy…).  Like I said in a time when there are so many pretend singers, Jones gets down…
• MUSCLE- 2.8 pts This is a cut that can make it in the streets (it might have a slow perc but it can happen…).  I didn’t see any itunes numbers yet (sales are so key to a buzz...).  This is a definite for the mixtapes (hit and RNB…) and as always a great video helps.  With a video and itunes sales, this could do some things (note: if this was Charlie Wilson this would be a gimmie so Jones folks got their work cut out…)
• JUICE- 2.3 pts On Jones’ 112 affiliation, he should at least be about to get urban radio in 3 and 4 tier markets (Fayetteville, Macon, Chattanooga ect..) to look up.  On this cut a victory in the smaller market can create a buzz.  1 and 2 tier (priority NY, LA, AtL, Dal…) markets will take a clue by what happens in 3 and 4 (Jones need to gig the 3 and 4’s out and create a buzz…).  The Djs are gonna rock this cut but the buzz is gonna drive the energy on this cut (as it does in all hits…) and energy and buzz we be the only thing that keeps this cut in rotation..  So great word of mouth (from gigging) will be the call to action on this cut…
• HITFACTOR- 3.3 pts Jones’ performance on here is tops, but as we all know it gonna take more than a great performance to drive a hit but this kind of performance doesn’t hurt…
• TOTAL 16.6 pts (out of 25 pts) Grade B-  That means this cut performance wise is strong so it gonna be up to Jones’ army (the label and fans...) to create the energy for a win…
