Meanwhile, at the office... One of those days 2 - Candide Thovex

This is a video my friend Claude posted after he got caught in an avalanche 5 years ago. Everybody made it safely but things could have ended badly. This is a good reminder of some basic safety rules, among which having beacons and ABS bags of course but also keeping safe distances. The video clearly shows that if they had been packed, skiing at 10 meters from one another, they'll have been all caught in the same batch.

Simply crazy.

Note that even he hesitate in the final run. Watch and you'll understand why...

I've done this track more than a few times. Never at this crazy speed though... Impressive!
